I think that the Iconians altering themselves genetically isn't too far-fetched. After all, they are the 'first children' of the Preservers, whom they themselves were masters of genetics. So I don't think it's be too far off the path to say that maybe the Preservers so long ago passed along at least some of their knowledge…
And all from supposed 'Federation' players as well. So much for tolerance and understanding, eh? I sure hope this issue is limited to these game forums and STO in general, and not in the larger Star Trek fanbase.
Look my lad, I've had just about enough of this. That parrot is definitely deceased. And when I bought it not 'alf an hour again you assured me that it's lack of movement was due to it being tired and shagged out after a long squawk.
Well if it's restin' I'll wake it up! Hello Polly! Polly Parrot! Wake up! I've got a nice cuddlefish when you wake up!...Now that's what I call a dead parrot.
I don't think that's a bad idea, but a big deal with them and the upgrade system in the first place IS that they make you pay huge amounts of dil for the chance to get a rarity upgrade. Of your options I can only really see number 5 being at all implemented. I'm not against your idea, as I hate the titanic costs of…
Star Citizen. COULD end up bad. COULD. I'll repeat that: COULD. I'm not saying it will or it won't, merely that I've been hesitant to back such a huge and still far from finished project. It could end up a masterpiece, or...it will end up crashing and burning.
Actually the nerf happened last year. First year we had the summer event, the birds gave out 200 marks. Last year, they reduced birds to 100 marks at best, and put in monkeys which also give only 100 marks at best.
Well I dunno what skill(s) should be affecting it, so no idea if that's bugged or not. Though honestly I could see Generators being the more logical one to work with it. But as for the DOFFs, those are not meant to work with it, as those are meant to be used only with those very specific things.
They oughta remake Dungeons and Dragons...though...I dunno, that's be REALLY hard. It'd be difficult to top the sheer level of ham that Jeremy Irons brought to that film.
Indeed. That, and sheer competition between people should help as well. After all, if everyone started cheating, then nobody is cheating since all people would be on the same level again due to that.
Well, just to speculate: Sela probably has, or had, control of whatever world or group, or resource, or whatever else that was a key factor in making Romulan ale. And since Sela's empire wasn't exactly on good terms with the Federation and Klingon Empire (and more recently the Romulan Republic), that's a good reason why it…
"Punished" eh? So someone posts some items at a price you don't agree with, and you feel that those people must be punished? In a game, merely for trying to sell an item? I know of some of the huge prices you speak of, but going around and punishing everyone merely due to them participating in a free market is even worse…
I'd rather see them not do a thing than add a new, potentially more expensive, holding. Or do a 'revamp' of the whole system, as that thought terrifies me even more due to how some of their previous 'revamps' have affected the playerbase.
Uhm...what exactly are you two (particularly you Patrick) talking about in regards to me? I think you must be thinking of somebody else, as I don't remember writing a guide on those topics.
Ikr? You make ground armor in engineering, but need ground weapon upgrades to bump em up. Yet ground shields are both made in shields and use shield upgrades.
I really like this idea. It means people without better boards wouldn't be absolutely screwed, and would have a chance. So at that initial cluster of people, all the higher divisions would speed off, but the lower divisions would go against each other. I only really see two issues with that: 1. Board switching. A person…
An understandable thing, but even if that doesn't change for that reason, mines still don't do enough damage to justify their long CDs and shared CDs. Even then, there's SO MANY more pets and other such things in the game since that change must've been made that how can that really be a good enough reason anymore?…
You forgot something else Praxi: Long shared CD that ALL mines share with ALL other mines and cannot be gotten around (compared to the mere 1 second most torps share with other torps). Plus just long CDs in general, on average 15-20 seconds at least, and their CD reduction DOFFs are also Projectile DOFFs, and there are…
