They did, I remember seeing the original 3D printed ships Cryptic were working on offering, they looked pretty bad by comparison with lots of layers from the printing very visible. Even so I had money to spare on this because I'd saved up a bunch even in the hope of a crappy low res version way back when. As for how much…
I bought mine on the 17th as well. They began printing it on the 7th of April. I was on the verge of contacting them myself when I got the email saying they'd completed it. Looks like it's just taking them more time than they expected. I'm guessing they got a lot more orders than they usually handle.
After a somewhat lengthy delay my painted 12 inch model is currently somewhere in Warsaw on it's way to me down here in Australia. Here's hoping I don't end up posting pics of it on reddit next to pics of broken monitors...
Same company, gameprint is owned by mixed dimensions, gameprint seems to have been created entirely for Star Trek Online figures (so far), mixed dimensions also has other companies for 3d printing services through 3dcollectible and makeprintable. If you're worried about where a company is in the world, just take a look at…
Phew, that burned a nice little hole in my pocket. $611.40 AUD It ended up being about $100 more than I was hoping but within range. I shall have a model of my USS Cynisca!
-I've always been bugged by the mission that had me killing unborn Jem'Hadar. Spending my starfleet morning bathing in the blood of the unborn doesn't exactly sound very Trek to me, I feel like that mission should give me the title 'galactic abortionist'. -Nimbus 3, walking out of Paradise city and instantly thinking I've…
Definitely Bajorans. I didn't see a single Bajoran that I liked. The one that comes closest to being likeable is actually Kai Wynn and that's more of an appreciation that she was actually written to be hated. Every time they were written to be sympathetic they just came of as whiny, needy, pushy, adolescent know-it-alls.…
LOL Wow that reads like a parody of late 80's/early 90's action movie trailers. *starts with an explosion along with orchestral music* "An epic chess game of life and death" *insert a scene or two of the antagonist doing or saying something antagonistic* "Love will be challenged" *insert scene of the love interest in…
I mustn't be much of a Batman fan. My first thought when I saw that poster was "Did they photoshop the reapers out?" It reminds me very much of the visuals in the mass effect 3 intro. My only hope for this one is a more coherent story that doesn't require further explanation in book/comic form and a much better motivation…
I don't have a problem with the OP's idea. Yeah it sounds all nice that Cryptic won't accept money for FE's. Unfortunately this seems to result in FE's being prioritized somewhere around "side project" status. I'd pay for FE's if it meant they got bumped up to "Lobi store/Lockbox" priority. Ofcourse, maybe that's how…
Windows aren't separate from the escape pods, no. I only choose one set of windows every time because they're attached to the only escape pods that I like.
Why just the fleet skin? Seems a little elitist to expect this change to be made just for that one skin. The deflector simply should be a separate option from the ship skins, this way it would apply to ALL the ship skins. The windows and escape pods should also be separate options, too.
It'd be client-side just like the NPC option. You wouldn't see what others wanted you to see, you'd see what you wanted to see. I'd get my version of canon, you'd get yours, the game would actually look it represents the universe it's meant to portray. You currently have the ability to dictate your opinion on what I see,…
The problem I have with this is that because people like yourself want to be unique little snowflakes I have to put up with this game looking more like a Star Trek convention than the Star Trek universe.
This reads to me like you're just angry that no one wants to play your fanwank foundry missions. Such a shame that hardly anyone here wants to stroke your ballooning ego.
Quite a lot less. To be perfectly honest though S7 is only part of the reason for that. I recently got a new computer so I'm putting it through it's paces playing all the games that made my old computer cry, plus with the recent steam sale and recent new releases I've got quite a collection of new games stocked up for the…
