    I'd Love it. Theres a thread I created somewhere buried about all of us including you if I remember signing for it to occur.

    As much as I love the song and the dabce and even some of the crappy parodies that resulted, it'll be like putting the macarena in.

    I think it'd be hilarious and something Cryptic should definitely put in (along with the Macarena). It'd be pretty nice tbh.

    I still don't know what it is, I make a point to avoid memes or 'flavour of the month' YT videos.

    Just like swag or yolo - who the hell comes up with this dumb TRIBBLE!?

    Anyway, it could be in the game, or it couldn't. To be honest I couldn't care less either way.

    Being somewhat less hyperbolic and silly.
    I would think that (1) I would like to see my mmo avoid that You Tube , Silly flavor of the month thing.
    and (2) 2409 , why in the heck would the Gangam style survive until 2409?
    Air Guitar, I can almost kind of see, but Gangam style.

    From what I hear.. TOR and Secret World are getting it.. so its Being put in

    my initial reaction was 'oh god no'.

    But, getting 70 people in a zone all doing the emote together, then having someone demo record it and add music would be pretty fun to see.

    Personally i have nothing against that particular dance, so why not.
    On a related issue: the whole tray bar should get a little attention, the constant shifts of buttons, etc + the way emotes are accessed in this game need improvements.

    my idea: the ability window should have another folder with a list of emotes, that can be draged into the tray bar like abilitys can be now. There should also be a seperate folder for "ITEMS" (consumables), captain abilitys, tactical abilitys, sci abilitys and engineer abilitys.
    I would love to have them more structured, and not in a scrolling list without color indication or some other method to highlight certain abilitys.
    The color coding would already be great that some users custom made already.

    so emotes accessable as buttons like abilitys and a more structured window for them.

    Is this a troll attempt?

    I can't work out if its a serious suggestion or troll thread.

    If its the former then id say no. I typically hate the cheesey, overrated TRIBBLE that we get in todays day and age and it couldn't be any further from Trek than adding lightsabers (that's not a damn suggestion!).

    This game has already veered too far away from what its title suggests it is. So on that base ill say no for me. Sorry but if you want to dance around like pre-teen girls then do it outside of the game.

    No I NEVER Troll
    I occasionally Orc or Uruk Hai
    once In a while I Goblin or Gnome
    and I have even occasionally ogred

    as to light sabres
    We have them (check out the Tholian sword when its powered)
    And pre-teen girls dance with a hair brush in their hand

    We already have some FUNNY emotes and this was suggested as another one
    it would be added under the dances

    Meh you are confusing me...

    I really dislike off-topic, off-genre and inappropriate emotes. It ruins the immersion and makes whatever the game it is seem like its not taking itself seriously.

    I can see this particular emote doing well on something like hello kitty online but should it be part of Trek? No.



    I think there are far more better and appropriate emotes to add before something like this at the very least.

    Well... the dances in the game are equally silly, so why not?

    I guess I just watch too much Star Trek and not much else when I have free time and not playing STO. I had to Google this to find out what it was and apparently its the most popular YT video ever. Still haven't watched it and don't plan to ever watch anything that is K-pop. I don't want to see it in STO either.

    PSY is Bizarro #1 as far as K-Pop is concerned. If I had to choose between him and Kara... well, as nice as Kara look thanks to their Apgujeong-clinic plastic surgery I'd go with PSY.

    Anyway, it's doubtful he'll maintain his international fame past this song so I think putting the emote in would be like putting in the dance from Asereje.

    There'd be more reason to put in the YMCA dance, really.
