I had a great internet connection at my last apt. But, it being the Florida Keys, anything even remotely resembling "decent" is ridiculously expensive. I was paying 1260 a month for 2/1 apt with central air. Also, it being the Florida Keys, it is difficult to find a roommate that isn't addicted to something unpleasant. Or…
I spoke with my former ISP tech guru (he's a gamer too) about an hour ago. (They still provide our phones, internet and fax for the shop, fwiw) And he suggested getting an LTE capable phone. And either plug right into the phone, or get a wifi card/usb thingy. I will probably go that route if I can do so without signing a…
No, it's not "my" fleet, otherwise I wouldn't be pestering you fine folks with this mess. I can't install the game at work, for obvious reasons, and don't think any of my friends have pc's big enough to install the game.
I just remembered one of the fleet members @ handles. But then it struck me. I may indeed be in need of a new fleet if I post it in general chat, lol. I'm not sure what the protocol is on something like that. So I'm going to err on the side of caution, and try other means of contacting them.
I will have to wrack my brain and try to remember one of their handles. It's been a couple of weeks, and my memory ain't that great on a good day, and this flu ain't helpin none.
I hate to bring personal stuff into the forums, but I cannot think of any other way to contact them. Maybe a kind soul will contact one of them in game and inform them of my predicament. It would be much appreciated. I will keep that in mind if I do get the boost. :D
Sorry, but slow, stupid zombies just aren't as scary as the fast moving, semi-intelligent ones. If Romero style zombies attacked, it would be so easy to defend yourself and escape. Not so much with the fast ones.
I just finished DS9, and am now watching Voyager. I've seen every episode of Star Trek. Every series. Every movie, except the last 2. But only once for most, when they were originally aired or screened. I couldn't tell you squat for details though, as I have the memory of a goldfish. Right now, I'm watching the Voyager…
It's my left hand mostly, the WASD steering thingy that is really causing the pain...gotta turn hard to port a lot, apparently. Pretty severe pain along the left pinky finger and down to the wrist. I love this game, but I won't keep playing like this. The carpal tunnel wrist brace helps but it only relieves the symptoms,…
Actually, a joystick would be preferable. Who make decent ones these days? The last time I had one, it was awesome, for the 6 weeks that it actually worked.
I've been having good fun with field stabilizing warp cores with the COI A-W suffixes. Got them on the majority of my fed ships. But I'm not sophisticated enough as a player yet to know the myriad details and differences amongst the various cores. I just know that enemies seem to be getting destroyed a bit faster with that…
I've got a couple of rommy's one sci officer and one tac. For the VA sci rommy I got the 3pack of the scimitar type ships, and am still trying to figure out which one is best for a sci officer. For my rommy tac, he's got the freebie assault warbird, the ar'kif, I think. And I like it a LOT. Fits my play style very well.…
