Not the individual you're replying to, but I can confirm...not fixed (at least, as of last night I was still seeing the error on my fully updated win 10/r290 system.

Given Cryptic's recent history with the mail... I'm not 100% trusting of the 'new' limit not counting individual attachments, or, of the attachment limit staying 5. I wouldn't be surprised if, after maintenance tomorrow it's 1 attachment per mail..with no acknowledgement of the change coming for 4 months....

It's not even 100.. The unannounced mail Nerf, has been further nerfed. Patch notes say we have 20 attachments now.

STO did not have a booth...you weren't lied to. The massively article is very vague on where Mr. Stahl was when they found him..so he could have been at someone else's booth, and agreed to talk STO with them. It says he was there to represent STO, but, even that could be him not wanting to turn down the interview.

So, you obviously no longer want to try and discuss your original issue, which was the perceived lack of security of ARC.. you've now gone to "I don't like it, so it shouldn't exist"... which means we've got nothing left to discuss about ARC.

If my password has been compromised (keylogger, man in the middle attack, I gave it to someone, pick your reason). ARC makes it no easier for them to get into my STO billing information...then the STO website does. As far as "hunt them down individually" How much hunting do you have to do, to launch a game client?

Convenience is very much not a security risk. ARC makes it no easier for a keylogger to grab my password, then the stand alone launcher. Assuming PWE/Cryptic further integrate STO into ARC, so that ARC no longer has to launch the STO launcher, and can do the updating/client launching itself.. one could argue it makes it…

The 1GB is just to install (temporary files, etc..).. Final installed size is less then 100 MB.

You're still overreacting. If you play STO, you're logging in via a PWE Account, if you play Neverwinter, you're logging in with a PWE account.
