Did it yesterday with a fleet mate in one of the New Rom patrols, taking turns. One's the victim, the other one heals. While it was definitely a weird thing to do ("Come on, you TRIBBLE, hit me! Damage me! Please!"), we got it done in 10 minutes.
Content wise it surely is and there are certainly better TFOs to keep you entertained, but it's quick and perfect for grinding marks. Just fly around the base shoot up stuff. It has become my regular quickie queue for Disco and Fleet marks.
The wiki says something along the lines that you need an elder character (who has this in available) to invite you to one of those missions, but I haven't tried this. I'll take a look at this later on my alt who is roughly in the same position. I really really wish they'd go back to the old system for the story arcs. This…
Yeah, Gamma BZ needs a rethink and then a rework. If it's more like Badlands/Tzenkethi BZ it would actually work. But having to solo (and being enabled to in the first place!) a 5-player queue is kinda silly.
While PvP enthusiasts have been neglected for some time and surely qualify as a 'group of players', it's probably too small a minority. Personally, I'd be happy with some sort of exploration system in the game but that'd be a tall order technologically. Who else has been unhappy for quite some time - Non-Fed players?
From the other thread: For those still having the issue after disabling Windows Defender's real time protection: make sure there isn't another protectionware running on your computer that has some sort of real time too (or disable that feature).
I seem to have (sort of) solved the problem. It seems to be an issue with the realtime protection of Windows Defender and/or any other protection software running on your computer indeed. I disabled my normal protectionware and made sure that the Windows Defender realtime protection is disabled too. I'm now patching at a…
The novels have imo degenerated to what I'd call a closed system. It's basically a dozen authors at most who keep cross-referencing each other, effectively creating their own Novel Timeline by now. It's really hard for the reader to keep track of it all. You read one Titan novel, then you read the next issue only to figure…
Personally, I like some of the TP novels and the tension it's existence creates. However, the novels have developed kind of their own ST universe and timeline that diverges significantly from the STOverse (Romulus not destroyed in the novels f.e.). Something similar to the TP would be nice to have, but then again, this…
AFAIK not. The doff UI is a bit clumsy at the moment. Could do with an overhaul. As it is now, administration of your doff roster is not very comfortable.
The Dyson Daily in the Allied Zone gives some marks (about 60 with bonus) very quickly. 5 mins playtime perhaps. But it doesn't award the special item unfortunately.
Somethings is off with my Fed campaign too. I have the XP maxed, I have the Rhode Island (which is supposed to be the reward for completing the campaign), but I'm stuck at stage 8/10, so no 2 spec points. Or do I misunderstand some mechanics?
Unfortunately I couldn't attend due to time zones. I was there 2 hrs early (the latest I could manage) but it was still empty. I hope you had an awesome time, people. I really appreciate the spirit of this event. Well done SFD.
Played it yesterday for the first time. Had fun. Oh teh carnage! I liked it. Simple, straightforward slaughter. Died like 3 times maybe. I think I got a good team. Will play again.
No. While I'm all for equality etc., I didn't like this specific design in the first TNG season. I don't know exactly why. I think they're a little too short. Kilts? Hell yes! There's nothing more manly than a kilt. Would pay Zen for a kilt option.
That's actually a valid point! Your loyality may have been wavering at one point or the other over the course of the years. Are you certain your loyalty has always been absolutely steadfast? No hidden thoughts of leaving STO in your heart? Never?
If it's an arc gift based on arc metrics, then good night everyone. Arc claims that I've been playing STO for 19 hrs and 30 mins. For several years now. Who knows how many of my purchases went unnoticed...
I checked my settings, I wasn't subscribed to Emails. I never unsubscribed. Possibly some tiny tick-box thing during an installation process years ago?
