Disco Rep.. can you only get marks from TFOs?

I seem to be missing something as far as the Mark grind. every other rep has a PVE grind that doesn't require TFOs, with the exception of Gamma if you consider those quadrant alert things a TFO

    The Starbase One TFO gets you 130 marks on Advanced, plus 1 Elite mark. Is there some reason not to do it?

    If you don't have a decently geared ship there's always normal difficulty.

    I actually enjoy all the DISCO queues, both ground and space.

    DISCO marks will never be a problem for me. :smiley:

    Content wise it surely is and there are certainly better TFOs to keep you entertained, but it's quick and perfect for grinding marks. Just fly around the base shoot up stuff. It has become my regular quickie queue for Disco and Fleet marks.

    Doing starbase 1 every couple of days to get the marks on a single character to unlock the boost, any others will wait until the marks go universal and an event comes along.

    Nothing of interest with the rep so no rush and also on the fence about bothering to hit t6.

    Might be a bland tfo that requires nothing but torpspread and a gravwell but at least its not pasta over pahvo.

    Its not much but completing the Featured TFO project with 14 commendations you can choose discovery marks on the box with marks selection. As far as I know its the only one that lets you choose disco marks since PE ones dont got the option

    You can just hit the random TFO button, the special box for the random completion lets you choose Discovery.

    The Daily Bonus Post Completion Projects from the Crystalline Featured TFO does NOT give Discovery Marks as an option.

    Before the Discovery Rep, I had only run SB1 on my Discovery Character as part of the story Arc, and one other Character. Since the Rep hit, I have run it daily on my Discovery Character on Advanced. It is easy, fun, and quick. It is part of my nightly routine.

    Yes, it does. It seems they got the big one changed but not the other smaller ones. A bit strange.

    Yeah, when I got my last token, the reward box rewarding marks included Discovery marks, which I grabbed.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
    I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Random TFO boxes are also giving out Discovery marks.

    From what I have heard there is no central place to put the rep lists, so the devs have to track down and update them all manually so it takes a while for anything to be added to all of them. It is not the best way of setting it up, but it is quite typical in big, long running systems like an mmo.

    I think the question was asked because not everyone likes TFO.s too many egos out there telling you "Go Play another game" or some such. that happens far more than Hey don't do THAT do THIS. when i played WoW i think I was level 5 or 6 before someone told me hey, don't stand in the red.

    Given that it's disco legends rep maybe that nimbus daily could reward rep marks.
