Here are my results if it will help anything. I am just getting sick and tired of being disconnected every couple minutes.

    Hi Bran..

Thanks to the efforts of many players earlier today we came to the same point in analysis of the situation, which was soon dispelled as players logging in from both Georgia and Tennessee were also having issues. The reason their testimony dispelled the original theorem ( saavis ) is because neither Georgia Nor Tennessee go through the Saavis hub.

Continuing our investigations ( as you can read above from page 10 onward ) we cross checked symptoms and locations as best we could. Irrespective of Saavis or geophyisical location, we all experienced similar issues which centered around the 208 class A network ARIN as assigned to your company.. At this point, I'm afraid the ball falls firmly back in your court, or the court of your ISP.
Frankly, I dont know if its Cryptic or the company which is providing the drop to your company and i'm not inclined to point fingers irrationally. either way, Saavis is out of the picture even though it did and does prove itself to be a major bottleneck ( 115 - 204 ms ping times ).
I do know that this is the time of year that cupertino can get a lot of wind. If a wind storm in the valley caused network traffic to be rerouted, it could add to the prevailing lag that was already there.. Unfortunately, I havent had access to Tandems world network control room since the 90s so i can only guess..

Hey, don't forget me out in NJ still getting rubber-banding. Many of my fleetmates (also NJ) are having similar issues as well. Saavis doesn't have anything to do with my connection or trace. If you said Cogent, I'd probably believe it, but as it stands now this doesn't add up.

I should also note that I am a LTS from pre-F2P. I love the game, but its stuff like this, that if I had the option to take my cash back and be a free player, I probably would. :(

I'm seeing the signs, choppy laggy rubberbanding, Orders not processing correctly, or taking a lot longer... and the launcher stuck on patching but nothing is patching for 30 seconds...

gonna crash soon, I bet tonight, anyone?

The server's always doing that. Big deal.

However, the server is crashing a lot too. It's gotten a lot better since LoR launched though.
I ask nothing but that you remember me.

Getting massive problems even starting the launcher ( playing from Germany ). Launcher only start patching after router reset.

Tested on 2 PCs and same problem.

I was just disconnected at least 15 times in 15 minutes ... every time I log-in I lose connection within 15 seconds. If I stay on the character select screen more than 10 seconds I disco right there. Just to verify it wasn't just a romulan issue I got on one of my feds ... and after a lot of rubberbanding got disconnected on that one as well (lasted 30-45 seconds on that one).

Is anyone else having issues today??

I can ping consistently 34ms. I'm not getting lag. I'm getting server not responding and then being disconnected by the server.

No rubberbanding, no slow connection to the server, no latency. I'm talking to the server. It isn't talking back.

If I COULDN'T ping at 34ms over 180 attempts then I'd be thinking oh hey maybe it's a router somewhere. But I can so it isn't.

I ran another trace on a whim today, and caught one of those lag spikes that seem to be causing my rubberbanding....

As i understand it, these numbers should be somewhat reasonable for an MMO and not one to cause rampant disconnects. And just to be clear, I don't have rubberbanding or lag or even problems logging in, I just have "Server Not Responding" followed by "Disconnected from Server" after 20 seconds. I am certain that this did not start happening until that last round of "Server Stability Improvement" on June 7.

Australian player here, using Telstra Bigpond cable internet 100/25.
Connection and play has been spotty since LoR dropped.
Last three days or so the game has been unplayable due to 'server not responding', lag, rubberbanding, warping etc.

    Please see attached Ftraces:

This appears to be something of a black hole. Other online games I play do not appear to be affected. A friend of mine that lives five miles away and uses the same ISP also has problems, although sporadically and less intensely than myself.

I'd actually like to thank Cryptic for these issues. At least a half dozen times in the last two weeks I've pulled out the credit card to buy a Lifetime subscription, and each time the game has developed a sucking chest wound, reminding me not to spend money until basic service levels can be assured. That saves me a couple of hundred bucks.

Thanks guys. Now I don't have to explain to the missus why I'm wasting US$200+ on a game!

    and now after the patch, the launcher comes up with this;

"Unable to establish connection to Patch Server. Please check your Internet connection. If problems persist, please contact Technical Support"

Brandon? what is tech supports #? i would just go thru web, but every time i tried before, i ended up getting a redirect loop error.

I wonder? maybe i'm the only one with this issue? :/

You're not the only one. For that small of a patch, it took 30 minutes for me. Now I can't even get beyond the Launcher. They have serious issues cropping up but don't want to do anything to fix them. What is the purpose of being a Gold Member when you can't even get into the game that you're putting money into? Guess they don't want me as a Gold Member or even a customer anymore.

I just dipped out the 200 bucks for the lifetime membership. Imagine how I feel.

Im having the same problem. Took a long time to download a tiny update. The the installer froze up. Had to restart my PC. Now im just sitting here looking at the PATCH button and the version number in the information window to the left. Fix this cryptic.
People dont like paying for things that dont work.

    That Is all.

It's just incredible how f***ed up this game became since the release of LOR. So much incompetence and bad service is just unbelievable, there are still users that are banned from some stupid autobannig script, and cryptic doesn't even answer to them. The endless unfixed bugs and imbalances, non working missions and "maintainances" that, once again, make things worse than before! Nobody of US could dare to deliver such low quality at their jobs, or we would be fired! But we let Cryptic get away with it?

I ask everybody to send mails about this to PWE executives, CBS executives and to all game reviewing magazines, online or printed. We can't let them continously getting away with taking our money, then throwing their TRIBBLE in our face and walk away laughing, leaving the name Star Trek behind as a pile of stinking trash.

    Wake up, people.
We want to keep the foundry.

Unable to connect to the patch servers and a tracert doesn't show a single black spot across the whole route only topping 100ms at one point (the intersection into perfectworlds system) and that only hits 104.

ok people what ever you did in that last update, you need to fix it.
I can not even log onto the game servers. It starts to patch, then freezes. I can not stay online long enough to download the patch.

My Loader...shes dead Jim, dead Jim...

..Was playing a ce, got lagbombed to infinity and beyond...then as I decided to restart my computer (sometimes the background updates make it laggy) I'm now staring at the loader that will not engage nor is patching

Its illogical, captains that this mmos servers are so....well, you get the gist
