    Also, you know -- not everyone in the world knows what a traceroute is for and Cryptic/PWE did ask for them. If Cryptic/PWE say they don't need them then, and only then, should people stop posting them. Until then, just chuckle away quietly, but keep it to yourself, preferably.

    If this was a P2P only game this issue would already be fixed and players compensated for their inconvienience.
    But as is the problem with most F2P games they dont really care will give a whole lot of jibber jabber about them looking into it but more then likely they are not or have a small staff of interns on it.
    It will take P2P players to threaten to quit on mass to get something done it seems

    Hi all, having magor problems like a lot of people trying to launch server at 9.36 pm uk time but it is saying no internet corection but i have as i can get online as normal. I am not a tecknolable person but i have run the test. i have instulled it again and again but the same problem. Is the server still down from earlier today or i am the only one how cannot get online. Any help would be greatful. thx lol

    Well Private Tunnel worked a whole 2 seconds for me. Unfortunately I have had on-demand patching on.

    What does that mean?

    The patcher downloads the bare minimums to patch the client and if I enter a zone that needs patching, the load screen takes 2-10 seconds longers while it updates the zone files.

    Great for when the games working.. bad for right now.

    I had a 6gb download and I blew through the free 100mb that Private Tunnel gives.



    So I you don't use on-demand patching and you want to get on, I suggest using Private Tunnel instructions.

    On demand patching is where it'll patch places and missions you've not been to in a while, so if you are playing the game with it switched on, you'll need your 'other' connection to patch those places (usually meaning mobile connection) - hence the switching off on demand patching.
