Yeah, this is a routing issue. Oh well, guess I'll get some sleep, maybe Cryptic will have found out who forgot to plug in their router and have had them fix it by the time I wake up.
On demand patching is where it'll patch places and missions you've not been to in a while, so if you are playing the game with it switched on, you'll need your 'other' connection to patch those places (usually meaning mobile connection) - hence the switching off on demand patching.
Sadly I have an iphone and it's a personal phone... and here in the USA at&t charges $50 for tethering service... so it's not an option.
Private Tunnel worked fine with the on demand option still ON... I just know that the moment I go into a zone I haven't been in for awhile I'd blow through the 100mb there too.

Dude... Just read a few of the posts. It's not your IP...
Create an account after install, verify email, open program and connect to California, once connected click on STO icon and that's it. Until PWE figures out its problem. Thiswill work for East Coast users, not sure if the international members are capable of using this.

Is anyone even playing this game? Here in France the launcher won't even start... All I get is a small window named Cryptic Launcher Autoupdate with "Trying to update the launcher. Please be patient. Tried connecting # times." And at 3 times it says unable to etablish connection to patch server ect.. Yay

As a lifetime subscriber since launch of the game, it would be nice to get some compensation for our loss of game-play.
This is a loss of approximately 960 dilithium, 75+ Omega Marks, and a minimum of 1 Borg Neural Processer to any one of my toons per hour. Based on this I conclude that I could run 3 Elite STF's per hour. Being unable to play STO since at least 11AM/8AM EST/PST that is 5.5 hours right now.
So, let's do the math.
960*3*5 = 14,400 Dilithium LOST
75*3*5 = 1,125+ Omega Marks LOST
1*3*5 = 15+ Borg Neural Processors LOST
These amounts do not include any bonuses during the Reputation Bonus Time-frame, nor does it include any of the additional Omega Marks or Borg Neural Processors one might getting during the Elite STF runs.
Compensation for the loss of game time would be highly appreciated by all players that are affected by the Cryptic/PerfectWolrd's Patchserver issue.

This is a loss of approximately 960 dilithium, 75+ Omega Marks, and a minimum of 1 Borg Neural Processer to any one of my toons per hour. Based on this I conclude that I could run 3 Elite STF's per hour. Being unable to play STO since at least 11AM/8AM EST/PST that is 5.5 hours right now.
So, let's do the math.
960*3*5 = 14,400 Dilithium LOST
75*3*5 = 1,125+ Omega Marks LOST
1*3*5 = 15+ Borg Neural Processors LOST
These amounts do not include any bonuses during the Reputation Bonus Time-frame, nor does it include any of the additional Omega Marks or Borg Neural Processors one might getting during the Elite STF runs.
Compensation for the loss of game time would be highly appreciated by all players that are affected by the Cryptic/PerfectWolrd's Patchserver issue.
