    I can quite catagorically say that it isnt an internet connection problem on my end as i have just logged into eve online into one of my accounts, if i can get on there why the smeg wont STO let me play!!!!!!

    Same here, forum/main website barely accessible and Game Launcher can't connect to update address. Tried several dns servers, no joy.

    Oh well, working as intended I guess :eek:
    P2W is Pay to Play for me, what else? Duh! :D

    -same problem but only since this last patch before all works
    -only very slow at some times when there were maybe to mutch players on for the server

    from Germany/Berlin
    18 Cpt on the way to 60: 14 of them are already 50 or over 50, one is 60 and 3 almost 43

    So, launcher won't start and if it does there's a big white screen with 'Please Wait...' in the corner.

    I know people are aware of the problem and that others are having it too. It's not me or my connection, so I'm not looking for advice for work arounds. This one's one the Devs to fix not us. We're the customers and they provide the service we pay for, either through subs or through zen purchases.

    Broken stuff can take time to fix, that's fine but I'm waiting patiently for some word, anything, from the staff to say "Sorry for the inconvenience, we're working on a solution."

    [EDIT] - Just seen the launcher d/l thread. Close and delete this thread when ready :P

    I remember when maintenance lasted the allotted time, and not several hours after said time. You (Cryptic, PWO, whoever) really should consider getting better servers if they cannot handle the load.

    Service seems to have deteriorated ever since PWO took over, but that's just my perspective.

    Anyone noticed that all the tracerts seem to time out at

    How do I link my PC to a phone? I have a Droid DNA so I assume it is possible. Just not sure how (I conntect via ethernet cable to a router for internet connection right now). I do not have a wireless PC.

    :eek: this worked for me (i'm currently in the character selection screen)
    1 switched to my mobile phone connection
    2 downloaded the patch and launched the client
    3 in character selection window switched back to my home connection
    4 got disconnected from the server
    5 logged in again without closing the game
    6 i'm in...:D
