    It's funny to some.
    It's griefing to others.

If goons want to mess about, go do it in another game that encourages it.

Here I really think abuse like that should be a banable act.

It's not EVE, it's not consenting to pvp as soon as you log on no matter how much goon's want it to be so lets stop this kinda TRIBBLE early and set the tone for a nicer game.

PS Loved the goons in eve, they were the only alliance where you knew where you stood. ie they would say anything to get you onside and do everything to TRIBBLE you over every time, shame they ended up TRIBBLE themselves so badly :)

    A general comment --

There's two ways to look at anti-social behavior in MMOs.

It's only a game, so who cares?

    and

It's only a game, so if people can't be decent here (where, apart from character or play considerations, the costs are few), then where can they be?

If people glom all over the first as being the only way to look at it, then they're missing something -- the concept of sportsmanship.

    Another point --

If fun is the be-all and end-all of everything in a game, then why can't we have NPC clowns? I love clowns. I think they're really fun. Devs, please bring in clowns.

Oh, heck, and my last point (which is a bit related to the first) --

What is it with all the "It's only a game!" expressions? Are they all Morpheus and trying to wake us up from the Matrix? It's just a cheap way to play God and it precludes any type of argument over what the game is or should be.

It's their attempt to justify antisocial behavior that wouldn't be accepted anywhere else, plain and simple.

If they're actually adults, it really doesn't show...not here, not in EVE. Their behavior is the stuff of middle school.

Its good to know where the bar is set in this game on what an adult is or is not. Thanks for relating behavior in a video game with human behavior. It really clears things up for me and now I know more about aging and maturity and its relationship to digital murder.

Now, for your next declarative theory, can you tell me where on the "Maschinegeist" scale of adulthood do Furries and RPers fit?

It's OK. That's the way it starts. :o Just work through it, find some support if you can, call a Cult Exit hotline or something... I'm rooting for you.

i have one thing i can say you all of you
" there goonies, what do you expect?"

there just as bad on EVE, it was thanks to them that the bigest alliance in game fell, and in such a cheap way, to think it survived the war between them and ASCN, then the galactic war, only to fall to some defecting director.

any way let me offer you all advice:
**** happens get over it and be thankfull that the death penaltiy is not any where neer as brutal as EVE, plus you could havej ust loged off and in again.

I like the Goons (in my own perverted seeing them as ridiculous monsters from another dimension aspect), so, if I -- and all of us -- get over them (with suitable defenses), then that could mean the sorry death of the Goons. In any event, one could just as easily say "Goons, get over it."

But I'm over it (for now). Wanna go play.

Hence why they blossommed in EVE. Its the only game the devs love them in
Though I bet CCP was angry then they killed Band of Devs though
