Just let me know if You have any more wisecrack remarks.
Being an adult with my own kid I don't need any fathers suggestions, so that wisecrack remark failed too. Nice try though.
actually i wasn't kidding, my father is a retired journalist, i asked his advice, he said contact the LA Times so i'm gathering picks of the offers and looking for stormies imfamous "they will be active on feb 2" post

Oh, sorry. So used to all the fanbois jumping on any critisism be it stating facts or not. As You can see I've spent alot on trying to gather all different offers available, so i might be considered a Fanboi too. Still I can critisize when information has been wrong and missleading.
Im happy to give praise for stuff that works and gets solved, like the Amazon Borg Bridge Officer but also comfortable to critisize when errors are made.
Sorry if I took Your post for just being another fanboi trying to be funny. My bad.
Seems the info on those sites have been copied and pasted from the same info source as they contain even the same typo on "containing/containg". I suppose that info must have come form somewhere like maybe Cryptic delivering the Boxes to the reatailers ??? Not sure that's how it works. i doubt 2 competetive web-site/reatilers have just made up the same info with the same typo in by accident.
your going to contact the LA times because you dont have a mini skirt in a fictional game?
ooookkkk... when the LA times calls back laughing, can you record it and post it for me?
what kind of priorities do you people have? i dont think people called the times over mass effects DRM software when it was launching on pc. tho i believe some places did pick up the story after the flame war smothered kotaku and just about every gaming site ive seen.
but somehow i dont see a missing skirt getting the same momentum.
seriously, you specifically seem to enjoy going waay to far. ive seen you post about contacting the BBB, and now the times?
please. the BBB ratings are about as useful and reliable these days, as Greenpeace's green ratings for electronics manufacturers. and the LA times? unless someone killed someone over the STO CE box, i doubt they'll care even the slightest about whether we're being mistreated over some missing skirts. i suppose if the skirts showed our butts underneath we could get the times to take the case.
now if you ask me did i order the DDE? yes through steam. i specifically paid the 60$ JUST for the bonuses from steam and the DDE as i had a CE ordered from gamestop already. as it seems others did too, i understand the problem here.
do i want my skirt? of course, ive been wanting to make that skirt part of a nice little outfit since headstart.
am i going to sue cryptic or call the local newspaper over this? no. ill wait patiently and give cryptic time to iron out some more pressing matters before i start having cows over my skirt. (though i must say, id like to get the female dress top used in TOS and some nice high heels for this wait)
we'll get our skirts. just takes time. and personally, while i want it alot, id rather they worked on server stability issues we've been having last few days then fixing a clothing skin texture issues or w/e the problem is. i got a nice uniform i put together till i get my skirt.
can you send me the screen shots i'm going to inform the La Times as per my father's suggestion
Edit: the poster below me makes a good point of bad publicity. not only could it drive new people away from STO. but it could drive STO down. i mean the press already has a hayday over making video games look bad, think of what they would do if they thought it would make good news to report of injustice, rip offs and other such over inflated thoughts of the situation?
the owners of star trek arent going to want it associated with bad press, and could pull the plug on it to prevent that from tainting the name. and if that happens STO will shut down and we wont get it back, least not for years if ever. and cryptic could go under taking CO out with it depending on how much paramount/nbc w/e is paying to make the game and how much cryptic has wrapped up in it that hasnt been paid back yet by orders.
if a product gets a bad rep, so does the company that makes it, and the one that licenses it.
However much I want my uniforms I have to agree with the poster above me. The last thing we want is to create bad publicity. In the long run it will hurt us just as much. We want this game to succeed, at least I know I do! I may want to shout it off the rooftops that I still haven't gotten the costumes, but I won't. Posting on these official forums trying to keep it a visible topic for the devs is enough for me.
I won't shut up about it untill my captain and bridge officers are in full TOS uniforms, I will keep replying to topics about it untill then. Writing to newspapers and threatening with legal actions is a huge step too far for me and I hope you think about this some more before actually doing it. The result won't be that we get the costumes faster and the bad publicity may drive people away that might otherwise try the game.

I too agree. I'm doing just that. Please don't confuse my post or me with anyone saying they would contact a Newspaper. In fact I thought that was just a sarcastic remark to my Post.
I too will post until the missing issues are fixed, as in fact Cryptic asked us to and be specific on what we are still missing.
Reason why I printscreened web-sites when ordering is since i dont have a printer and always do that as a sort of receipt on what i acctually ordered and is supposed to be delivered. Just a precaution on my part. never had I imagined there would be so many issues and so many affected when i did.
Anyway. Amazon UK was solved. Got my Play code for 500 skillpoints finally, so I'm simply awaiting the rest to be fixed and posting details on what i still miss and what i acctually ordered.
I'm in no rush. still only created a test character that is still at launch spot. I will make my real character as soon as all my choices from my orders are delivered.
btw, can You acctually change Your uniform later in the game ??? As one of You suggested You will use the uniform You have put together atm until You get your skirt. Won't You have to chose that as You create Your character ??? As I've only made a test character I'm eager to know.

You can visit a tailor at any time you wish during the game, for a small fee you can change your costume there. The fee will rise rapidly if you decide to change all features though, like facial and body features besides the uniform, every single change small or big comes with a price so the more you change the bigger the cost.
I don't believe there is a limitation on the amount of times you can do this. Besides this you get a free costumechange every time you gain a new rank which only counts for the captain.

Hey come on They are working on it. Why i know that? Because they said so at the beginning of the thread. Do you really think it would do any good calling a newspaper? Beside the fact they aren't interested in that kind of small story.
Some things just need time, they have hundreds of priorities and other stuff to do right now. Our Uniforms are one of it. Im sure they will release a great patch in the future.
And yes, they are not answering this thread. But when i read some posts here i dont need an educated guess why. And i prefer the status "say nothing" from the customer service including the fact that they told you before that they are working on it, over a comment from the devs or the customer service that would create rage posts and anger. Even personal insults. I have read through some posts here in the Forum where the customer service answered questions or complaints. In most of it there was nothing more than one thank you and about two thousand rage posts or new questions. Like kids in the kindergarden.:)
Well, i know this is a little chance in my mind, i posted different before. But i think the things are a bit out of control here about miniskirts? You guys cant live without bare legs for two weeks?
I dont want to judge anyone, this includes the Devs. Give them time and im pretty sure you will be pleased with the fix.
# Updated the headshot displayed for a saved costume
# Purchase and Cancel buttons are now always available when customizing a costume.
Those seem to be the only items that relate to uniform custimzation. Of course it's possible that the necessary updates to at least fix BOs to have "special" uniforms still made it in and just isn't in the patch notes. However, I don't have any high hopes.
Nothing fixed with todays new patch.... New content is awesome and all but nothing that adresses out missing uniform options we payed for.
Atleast they mention that it proberly will be in the next patch after this one, sooo we have to wait another week for this to be fixed which isnt awesome.
It better be fixed when the next patch comes around
Like many others I'm still awaiting Your fix for the TOS Dress and high boots for female characters. Hope it's not just a min-skirt to add to the top shirt. As soon as that is fixed I can make my Female Captain. Not in the mood to start a character and LvL her up and then having to restart once the other uniform choices gets added.
Technically, the TOS uniform for females should include knee high gogo boots and a scoop neck and black pantyhose.
I consider the fact that I can now outfit my BO's with the parts of the TOS uniform and the post earlier today that the rest is internally tested and should be in the next update AWESOME news!
Thanks for both this patch and the update about the skirts! I really hope all uniform issues will be sorted out soon, at least now I have faith that it will happen soon.

Hopefully they'll be fixing the BOFF inability to wear the items too at the same time.

Sucks that we will have to wait but again it's better then the total silence.

Citation for the pantyhose http://tos.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/2x01/amoktime0017.jpg I looked for Nurse chapel because the contrast of black hose would be more stark on her than on Uhura.
But Uhura has an awesome example of the scoop neck and also a second shot of the gogo boots.

Beyond that, I'd advise you not to get your hopes up for the thigh high boots if you did not get the Champions Online lifetime. Why?
Because those are Mirror Universe

Yes but no Wrath of Khan pants for my bridge officers.
Because I have had no problem putting on the shirt on my BOs since launch but it's the miniskirts that I want.
Not yet... there's a post this morning
http://forums.startrekonline.com/showpost.php?p=2038460&postcount=10
actual gold name very explicitly and non-generically stating that it'll be next patch.
My BOs can wear WoK pants... and TNG series tops now as well. Good steps.
That's F'ed uip.
LOL you bring up an excellent point! What would be involved in rigorous mini-skirt testing?
/discuss
The don't want to get an M-rating.
Oh darn did You have to Post that. Now I want those Mirror Universe Thigh Boots with a TOS Dress. I'm never going to get that. *crying*

Thanks for both this patch and the update about the skirts! I really hope all uniform issues will be sorted out soon, at least now I have faith that it will happen soon.
THANKS!!!!
