No, no it isn't. You keep offering these incredibly stupid rewards, you will only keep losing testers. You are literally turning people AWAY from the Tribble Test Weekends.
What happened to you guys? The first five season tests had awesome rewards. But ever since you went F2P the rewards have been as infantile as a ding-dong-ditch, but less dignified.
um the first 5 season also included tribbles yeah so we got a doff for the F2P test not much better than a tribble in this case but it was expected so why cry about it
on a different note that's not really related to this, Brandon can you tell the Devs that the new "audio udate" to risa is going to drive people away from risa not bring them to it, not sure what the intentions were when they added this maybe it was to drive people off risa so they would not farm the favors as much.
I didn't get the Tribble, even though I tested for waaay more than an hour on the Testing Days. And during the closed beta. I even checked with my friend, he does not have it.

They have pulled the tribble temporarily due a bug, but neglected to tell us here on their own forums, and used Twitter to tell us instead... Great communication, huh??
I'm not particularly fond of the little buggers. I mean sure their cute...but they eat. Then multiply. The only tribble I actually like is the cannibal tribble. Why? Keeps my inventory clean of other tribbles.
I would honestly prefer doffs to more tribbles. I mean I get the pun, you get special tribbles for going on to the tribble test server. I just don't find them very useful. A pack of a hundred Nukara Marks would've been cooler.
That said, kudos for making it available to everyone, because of the queue issues, that's very fair and equitable.
"Rise like Lions after slumber, In unvanquishable number, Shake your chains to earth like dew, Which in sleep had fallen on you-Ye are many they are few"
Shouldn't we be thankful that we got anything at all..? I mean, look how long it took us to get skirts for KDF (even though you have to buy a horde of cashgrab boxes just to get it for one character), Andorian ships, even though you have to pay 20$ for one... or a host of other things that took them forever to put in the game.
Best reward, however, IMHO, would be for Cryptic to, you know, actually *do* something with people's bug reports, instead of us coming online, only to find out things have been utterly ignored.
I know, it's a bit of a cheap shot; but I know *a lot* of ppl would feel very rerwarded if Cryptic didn't just blackhole their feedback.
I did beta test on Tribble for 2 days and never got the mol'rihan tribble
and the nukara tribble is not available at eur evening time after the upgrade of this afternon?!
So... there really was no reason whatsoever for us to test on Tribble, using our in-game time (which is worth more now than it ever has been) to find problems and give feedback on things you created?
I used to test because it was fun, and I didn't need another reason. However, because time is so important in this game right now, just being slightly more "fun" isn't enough.
Players make a conscious sacrifice of time that could be spent earning something in the actual game, or, better yet, doing something productive in real life whenever they log on to Tribble - and they aren't doing it because they get paid to. We have no obligation to help you. The customer is not responsible for the maintenance of a company's products. That is an unavoidable fact, but we help you anyway.
This "reward" (real rewards aren't given to everyone, by the way), this literal ball of fluff, (for which we waited nearly two months) is a pathetic excuse for gratitude.
In giving us this, you have somehow managed to use a gift to turn people away from your test server.
Cryptic, please fire whomever is in charge of your QA people. Seriously. I don't normally rant about such things, but Sweet Jeebus... This game has been full of bugs for eons now and more are added faster than you can fix them. LoR is full of some really annoying bugs.
Then something like this happens? You guys bork the release of a Tribble Test Tribble?
How does that even happen?
>shakes head<
It really calls into question whether anyone there even plays this game.
It's really just so sad.
The ironic thing is CrypticEQAH saying they fix exploits because it is "unfair" to those who cannot use it, yet let an entire sub faction (Romulan/KDF) go on since LOR launch not being able to use costume slots
To claim your reward, log into STO (Holodeck) and visit the in-game C-Store from your minimap. Once in the C-Store, select the ?Items? tab from the left and scroll down until you see the reward. Click on it and then click the ?claim? button towards the lower-right section of the store. This is an account-wide reward that can be claimed on all of your current and future Federation, Klingon and Romulan Republic characters.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Nukara Tribble requires Federation and Klingon captains to be level 2+, and Romulan Republic captains to have chosen an ally, before it can be claimed. You can only equip the Tribble while on a ground map.
Logged on Holodeck, On a Lv50 Fed-Fed Character on DS9 Promenade. I did a few hours on my Romulan during the Weekend.

Bravo, Cryptic. Bravo.
THIS...so MUCH THIS!! I feel so rewarded...Thanbk you cryptic
And
As usual you will just read this and give us literaly the midle finger...for getting something and complaining...
Oh wait...You already have by giving it to EVERYONE...and making the time that we spent on the test server pointless!
PS: the reason the tribble is not available in the game anymore is because they fraked it up...with the 6 sec cooldown...and are fixing it and we know how expidiant cryptic is to fix stuff that doesn't make them money!
Useless Reward that takes up expensive, bought with real money, inventory space?
Check.
Gift given to everyone, whether they were on Tribble or not?
Check.
Customer feedback on many issues left unanswered, unresolved and not responded to even now that LoR is live for almost 2 months?
Check.
Really, tell me why your customers should ever want to volunteer to donate their time to help you make a better product when you treat them like this?
Typically I wouldn't even care to receive a reward or not and would provide feedback and my personal free time testing anyway.
Having feedback be continually ignored on the other hand does nothing but remove any remaining motivation I may have had to care one Iota about your "testing".
Also, as I know the question will come up, another reason why this reward is available to all players was due to the overwhelming demand to test Legacy of Romulus on Tribble -- some players ran into queues, and were not able to get on the server because of it, so we wanted to give this to everyone to thank you for your continued support of testing our new content on Tribble.
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Brandon =/\=
So the reward for testing trible is... Nothing.
If you give it to people that didn't test, we that did the testing will get nothing for our time and troubles... Thanks for nothing and next time no testing for me..
A other cryptic fail..

Next time for the testing, simply afk the hour unless the rewards are actually going to be better the more hours you log, then just afk those hours as well.
This way if we just get another tribble again while they don't fix actual bugs that we find, we haven't actually lost anything since it was afk'd time instead of actual time.

I know, and I find this disturbing. Not everyone uses Twitter, Facebook or what have you for various reasons.
Why they can't or won't use their own forums is beyond me.
Care to explain Cryptic??

Maybe you should tweet that
Star Trek Online, Now with out the Trek....
No, I do not use Twitter, as I never have liked it or Facebook...
Poor form not to use your own forums for issues like this Cryptic, bad form indeed...
HAHAHA funny because it is true. Can't even get a response outside of twitter on why they won't respond outside of twitter.

You can find/contact me in game as @PatricianVetinari. Playing STO since Feb 2010.
Tribbles are AWESOME! I want all of them in all flavors!
I hope that the next season test reward will be another unique fuzzball!

Bravo, Cryptic. Bravo.
They did have a DOFF a Breen Warfare Specialist I believe back in season 6 testing.
So they've done it before why not again, and why not have that Doff made available again?
really though, thank you, I don't mind another tribble as it isn't something one time use

Not a bug...a frak up! When they reskinned a tribble and changed the stats...somone made its cooldown be only 6 sec instead of 60 min.
But again, NOT a bug! It was actually something nice to have....but no...some players (fan***s) went and told cryptic about it...
Because we cant have anything nice!
