Having the same problem. Characters on character select screen won't load.
It's the (secret) hops through the NSA. They're having a lot of distractions this week.

I have, I'm in the midwest. My internets are fine, but the game has been lag spiking all day and not connecting now.
I was getting all day yesterday horrible lag in sectors, and tons of "server not responding". Tried to do a borg sector alert, what a nightmare, rubberbanding all over. Ditto trying to do epohh tagging. I have never had this in over 3 months of playing.
I'm not sure if it matters but i have century link as well. The thing is, my net seems fine. I'm having zero issues with any other game or application.
Trying to log on today and the launcher is acting strange, no server status light and the engage button wont come up, it just stays greyed out on "patching.....

i have had this issue since i first started playing (about a month) but it was only a mild annoyance and it never disconnected me.
after the last I'm gonna say (2) instability patches it has gotten much worse... it went from rubber banding to total inability to even get from one instance to another without disconnection.
I also notice now that many others are having similar issues.
any word on a fix?

My provider is century link for dsl (i live in a rural area, in arizona)
Game was playable but barely yesterday, now i cant even log in to ANY character (server not responding)
This was after running around DS9 rubber-banding and running into the walls 8 times
I couldn't get a good screenshot (forgot to get the UI in it), but my graph looked pretty much like this one out in the Sirius sector block...may just to a lesser degree.

Well, i guess ill check next week if the game works...hell mail was broken for EVERYONE and it took over a week and a half for that to be fixed...:rolleyes:
Agreed, something is very wrong on the server. I'm usually not affected by anything other than a major outage, but all day long there has been terrible lag and "server not responding" glitches, and a whole lot of getting kicked.
At this point, we need a Dev to say if there's an investigation. I can't even get into the game.
EDIT: Glimmer of hope as I loaded into Virinat for a new Liberated Romulan Borg...but there wasn't anything there but the terrain! I got the opening Legacy of Romulus video, then I got greeted with a Disconnected from Server message.
What's sad is I just went Lifetime yesterday. Happy lifetime to me!

i have submitted a ticket and worked with my ISP. they swear there is no issue.
only part of this i am unfamiliar with is windows 8. last computer i purchased (built) was an XP machine.
anyone have or know of issues with connectivity while using windows 8? am i missing something or need a specific driver or something?
i have updated my NIC driver and verified all is good on my end.
thoughts? opinions? ideas?

I'm not sure if it matters but i have century link as well. The thing is, my net seems fine. I'm having zero issues with any other game or application.
Trying to log on today and the launcher is acting strange, no server status light and the engage button wont come up, it just stays greyed out on "patching.....
Getting very annoyed...
Tried to do a nettest but this was all during a "Server Not Responding" error in loading maps.

after the last I'm gonna say (2) instability patches it has gotten much worse... it went from rubber banding to total inability to even get from one instance to another without disconnection.
I also notice now that many others are having similar issues.
any word on a fix?

My provider is century link for dsl (i live in a rural area, in arizona)
Game was playable but barely yesterday, now i cant even log in to ANY character (server not responding)
And i just subed for a lifetime last week

EDIT: Glimmer of hope as I loaded into Virinat for a new Liberated Romulan Borg...but there wasn't anything there but the terrain! I got the opening Legacy of Romulus video, then I got greeted with a Disconnected from Server message.
What's sad is I just went Lifetime yesterday. Happy lifetime to me!
