Well well something important happened, i could edit my hg outfit and ive seen more outfit options like 'of duty'...BUT the hg elite cmndr accolade is still unfinished as well as the be'ves pads which should be unlocked after completing the before mentioned accolade...reputation upgrade still none.

Nope, things have improved since the acquisition. Cryptic still exist though and it is they who fix, or in most cases, don't fix bugs. The Support team provided by PW is purely PR control. They have no ability to fix or alter anything in the game.

Ahh... I only started playing a little over a year ago and every time I submit a ticket to their "customer service" people, I end up explaining their own system to them. They almost don't even know what Star Trek Online is.

I'm hoping this is the right thread to post in. Old school achiever that can't access the helm option for my Omega and MACO costumes in the Tailor.

borticuscryptic makes post responding to different threads on this forum complaining about STF costume unlock bugs. There seems to be three different types of complaint. Those from people who don't have a bug but don't know where to look for their helmets. Those from people who genuinely don't have access to components of their unlocked costume, such as the helmet, and those who have bugged accolades which do not unlock the STF costume project.
borticuscryptic asks us to provide the name and account names of those characters who are experiencing the issue so that they can isolate the problems.
borticuscryptic Suggests that they may be able to slip a fix in via commander Roxy. We might be able to talk to her to get our accolade lists checked and fixed.
Legacy of Romulus is released.
No further communication from borticuscryptic is received.
Honestly I don't think this is borticuscryptic's fault. I think this may have been something he was trying to fix for us in his own time outside of the schedule cryptic had for LoRs release.
So kudos to borticuscryptic for trying. We really appreciate it and hope he can get back to it soon. Alternatively if any one else at cryptic wants to fix it for us that would be awesome.
We don't want this thread to turn into a reason for cryptic employees to not talk to us. Some times things happen and resources get re-allocated that's understandable.
We are just keeping this thread alive because we still want a fix and don't want this issue to be forgotten.
Update on my situation. Repurchased the MACO XII set. No change in accolade status. I sill have two copies of the set accolade - old one incomplete, new one completed. I sill cannot get the costume unlock project.
Okay I tried to unlock maco style 3. When trying to turn in the project I get:
Failed to collect rewards for "Costume Unlock: MACO Style 3". Make sure that you have room in your inventory.
I also have all of the pieces for the M.A.C.O Commando and Omega force operative accolades and the accolade won't complete. I was thinking it had to do with getting my optionals. I have all of the optionals and it still won't complete.

All associated costume projects ARE unlocks, type 1, 2, and 3. No helmet. This really blows since I've been working on this for years. I constantly got screwed when it was drop based. I also have all optionals, so please look into this PWE/Cryptic. I filed a ticket too.

Now as of season 8 not only do I not have the final Omega and MACO costume options, now I cant even modify the ones I have. I get the error message "Outfit uses invalid parts."

There is no hope. The STF Accolade bug will never be fixed. We are all going to suffer eternally in the bowls of incomplete appearance set hell.... or you know, keep bumping this thread... what ever.
where is this borticuscryptic guy? what happened to Roxy update???
I e-mailed him about a week ago and haven't gotten a response. I highly suggest that everyone else also do the same thing and maybe he'll post an update.

My other chars that didn't open any sunglasses boxes can still use their helmet costume parts.
I should note I had most of the costumes unlocked and working fine before the reputation system was implemented.
