Got same issue. Was using MACO XI uniform, and then unlocked MACO XII armor. After that, tailor was missing both Omega and MACO costumes I had available before, and game said something about "invalid parts". Tried discard method, didn't work.
Not all of the costume bugs/missing pieces are caused by the accolade problems. Discarding and retrieving only fixes the ones caused by broken accolades. They haven't started to address the other issues with the missing parts in the tailor yet so those of us with those issues, still just have to wait.

You're not alone man. I've been waiting on a fix for a long time too. Borticus did say somewhere in this thread that he's now passed along all the information we provided about which species were missing what items and stuff to the team so they can try and get a resolution. Though I don't think it'll happen any time soon unfortunately.

If you're only missing partial set pieces, then this is an issue with the data associated with the Costume itself, not the Unlock. You received the unlock (and, I presume, the Accolade), and therefore aren't suffering from an issue specifically related to this thread.
The missing costume pieces issues will need to have their own thread. As far as I'm aware, it's limited to just KHG Helmets and Chest Pieces, both of which have already been reported to our Character Art team for review.

While the art is fine, costume issues are mounting and there are more and more issues every month. You really need new technical people on this because who ever is doing this now is doing a very poor job and creating more issues than they solve.

- M.A.C.O. Elite Commander (FED and FEDROM)
- Honor Guard Elite Commander (KDF and KDFROM)
Personally I've only been able to confirm this on FEDROM and KDFROM but multiple people confirm that it also happens on some pure FED and KDF characters.
The accolade community would be eternally grateful if you could find some time to help us trigger these duplicate accolades on the characters where they didn't show up.

On Tribble I tried to discard end retrieve all STF gear in the replicator. On retrieval I hear the familiar buzzing sound for each set piece but no duplicate accolade appears.
I also tried to buy one new set piece through the reputation system but no duplicate accolade shows up as in progress.
My memory fails me but my pure FED and KDF characters did all acquire at least most of their STF gear through the old drop system while my Romulans acquired most of theirs through the reputation system. I don't know if this somehow is related to the duplication of the accolades but if there's anything we accolade hunters can do to trigger the duplicate accolades on the characters which didn't get them, please find some time to share that info with us.

Olympus7 made a detailed analysis on his characters in this post and he also comes to the conclusion that it's related to whether you acquired your set pieces pre or post the rep system. Thanks for the update on this. I'm no programmer, but shouldn't it be possible to code for "if Accolade X is present, don't display/count Accolade Y"?
Or "If accolade X is present, automatically award accolade Y (duplicate one)".
e.g. if we got MACO Veteran (for MACO xi set) acco pre-reputation, we would automatically get post-reputation MACO Veteran acco.
In that way, we would all have duplicate accos, that is, bunch of us won't "lose" accolade points, while stuck accos issue/tailor issue would still be fixed.

Any ETA on when these costumes will work? Had a little ray of hope that the accolade fix would help with getting the costumes on the post S7 characters who couldn't get them Pre-S7. My various ones still seem to be broken/greyed out for certain options mostly on Klingon females and letheans for the most part now.
This is a tangential issue, and not directly related to Accolades or Costume Unlocks, but has to do with species restrictions and conflicting slot requirements/allowances. It's not something that can be fixed in one fell swoop - each missing piece, for each species that is missing them, has to be addressed individually.
We are not likely going to get these fixed by Season 9, but would like put together a thorough list of what's missing. Each piece needs to be addressed on a case-by-case basis though, so just saying "I'm missing pieces" doesn't help the issue get solved.
Complete information will be needed in order to get each missing piece fixed:
- Species (and remember that "Klingon" is very different from "Liberated Borg Klingon" in terms of game data)
- Allegiance (Fed or Kdf)
- Gender
- Costume Project(s) Completed
- Missing Piece(s) associated with earned Unlock(s)

After using a sponsorship token to complete my Orlok's Omega rep some time ago, I continued playing him just enough to buy his Mk XII MACO armor, but then sort of retired him. After S9 I restarted playing him and yesterday realized I had never created a costume for his MACO set. When I visited the tailor and notice no Helmet option is available at all (as seen here). Having done a bare-minimum-type level-up, I don't remember if I ever ran any costume projects for him or not, and now post-S9, I checked and there are no longer such options. I did try registering my set w/Roxy. It made an accolade pop-up, it did not fix the missing armor option.

Log your KDF, Discard your set items (Gun, Armour, Shield) Then go to the replicator, buy them back and its fixed.
