Well I have to go to work.

    Good Luck All.

The Private Tunnel thing worked well for me so when I run out of Mbs I will probably buy some more because i see this happening from now on.

    AND 200!

I am not understanding all the technical jargon, i thought i just had to do simple things to play this game. What happened to the good ole days when you just had to download something, install, and then launch the application, now i have to like decipher coding and learn neural networking, etc etc. What has happened to our todays internet is a sign of the times. With the Goon running around. And Egg being so previlant in dicating the going ons of this tsunami of igloo's that they are trying to incorprate within the hidden world of technilogical improvements. What can we possibly expect? is our future that hidden from us?

because alerting community or anything that is useful to US the players on the forums gets the member who tells in trouble and banned from the forums.

Dam this issue still not fixed.

I'm in the UK and have this issue the same issues get the client to patch it either fails and an error comes up saying error connecting to the patch server.

I did have a little hope when the box did show but it stayed white and then launched diagnostic page in a browser that came up blank so guessing that failed too.

Players: We cant get into the server

Cryptic PR: "OTHER" people can get in so it is obviously YOUR problem.

Really nice PR work their branflakes... its so nice to know Cryptic only really give a TRIBBLE about customer relations. Oh but now what you realise LOTS of people are having this problem around the country your response is:

    Red text and an underline.

Did Cryptic PR study under Stalin or do you seriously think hundreds of pages of people saying they cant get into the game is REALLY just an irrelevant statistic ?

i saw an issue similar to this when working on a Disaster Recovery site. We had touble building devices when they tried to contact active directory, as well as when the users logged in. When runninga trace to the AD server we received similar results. However, reseting one of the switches along the route fixed the issue. Maybe someone could reset the switches at Boston?

    Hi Captains,

The team is investigating, but this does not seem to affect all players and may be regional. To help in the investigation, please run a tracert (instructions for this process here) pointing to launcher.startrekonline.com and copy/ paste your results in this thread if you're comfortable doing so and making sure you star out your local IP address.

    Cheers,

    Brandon =/\=

I do not believe its regional at all. I just had to download the game again for a second time on my new PC becuase I stuck STO on my much smaller SSD instead of my huge harddrive and now I can not connect to the patcher.

It worked fine last not when I had the game on the SSD, so whats different? STO doesn't like non solid-state tech?
Before this change in PC and drives I never had an issue logging in at all.

ok ill try to say this without getting into trouble. last night before update this morning. people were doing things in game that is not honest.

I see your point.. altho the way you say it sounds like satanic rituals and opening portals to places better left.. un-portaled-to.
Maybe that's just it. I certainly like the occult touch of your statement. ;)

I blame Commander Remmick for all this. ;)

Is Q punishing us for all that double XP we took this weekend? I mean, I don't know about you guys, but I felt like I was robbing the store when doing Mirror Universe invasions while hopped up on Double XP.
