any NIC on the way could be faulty, that is true, but then there would be other services impaired as well... maybe there are, maybe not. But since players are online and I guess it's the same Datacenter, the problem should be well within the Datacenter...

i was ingame 11 12 ish hours ago working fine then began to get some server not responding again then just went to bed was sleepy now same thing launcher loading check connection unable to connect to patch server connecting is fine i'm able to be here my guess is this is whats caused all the recent server not responding issues since intel graphics patch(not intel user just using as point of reference) i'm guessing the fix may be too much for a section in the hops to play too many people all of a sudden again overworked parts of the connection something had to collapse trying to keep up.
i really hope you guys at cryptic have a back up plan for this i really really do i love the game
I don't think it's PWE's fault... Boston has just been hit by a 120-megaton thermonuclear weapon.
It's terrible - they're stacking the bodies like planks of wood, they turned our local food court into a triage center, people are walking around with melted faces and horrible radiation burns. There's been a spate of looting and home invasions.
Boston appears to have been the first city hit by a massive surprise attack from the diabolical forces of the European Union. New York should be hit shortly. I would imagine the West Coast should be feeling the burn in a few hours at most.
With all this horribleness going on, I'm glad I just bought a gas generator, an uninterruptable power supply, and satelite internet. I want to unwind from boarding my windows and doors with some Star Trek Online, and it frustrates me that the servers aren't available.
I don't care whether it's because of PWE ineptitude or nuclear war. Fix the problem. Now.
This just made my day. I tip my hat to you, sir. Although let's be honest, you live in a lead bunker...it's probably your internet connection that's the problem.
You're just a machine. And machines can be broken.
i see the last post was over 3 hours ago,,, maybe some people are back in-game, but there is no such luck for me. just wanted to confirm this is still an issue. thanks

Also the cryptic staff are doing their jobs and trying to get this sorted, which is all anyone can do at the moment so shut up and post yer damn traces.
for that I would like to have a Dominion with the Escort Carrier in it for compensation !
I already opened several of these Boxes and I only got junk !
Hah! Count yourself lucky. I must have opened 150odd boxes (if not more) with the same result as you, luckily I'd saved up enough Lobi from the past that I was able to purchase the Dreadnought from the Lobi Store, sell it on the Exchange and buy an Escort from my winnings.
I can say without a shadow of a doubt the money I put into that is the last ever. Wasted far too much on boxes for that Escort, and besides, I can't see myself wanting any other alien ships. The Cardassian, Breen and Jem Hadar ships ought to be enough for me.
i opened about 300 boxes and got a bunch of other stuff but no ship i would like a heavy escort carrier as well! i think its stupid that you make us spend so much on keys and don't even offer up an increasing chance relative to how many boxes you opened.. its absolutely ludicrous what it takes to get one of those..
Whilst I can appreciate how annoyed you might be, you can't blame Cryptic for their lock boxes. Truth be told, they aren't forcing you to put money toward those keys. It's by your choice and greed for an alien ship (a ship that is equally on par with some FED ships anyway). Fact is, it's a random gamble. Doesn't always work in our favour. I've got two lock box ships (and the Chel Grett). These will do me just fine.
Same problem. There already was a thread about this but it has been moved. See you there when they are merged.

I like in the UK and noticed a lot of lag and rubberbanding last night at about 1am 0GMT
Also the cryptic staff are doing their jobs and trying to get this sorted, which is all anyone can do at the moment so shut up and post yer damn traces.
It is through repetition that we learn our weakness.

Has damage got out of control?
This is the last thing I will post.
Same, I've never heard of team viewer either. This being the case (for both of us; maybe more) I doubt such a software problem is our problem.
These will do me just fine.

nope it wasnt, only ten mins from me
If you've managed to patch, try loading the gameclient.exe in the STO directory.
