I got this proc so many times on my wife's R8 recast wiz weapon. It's absolutely horrible, the HP proc ruins IH as far as I could tell. The proc rate is incredibly low that even while I attacked her weaponless at 3.33+ APS it was barely going off =/

No, it's not. GoF and Adv purge is only for archers and BMs/sins which by the way is debatable for sins. You can come out swinging at 5.0 if you get 2x int on daggers with 40 attack levels. What Jen said, to add to that if anything the game is less pay-to-win now with third cast Nirvana being dirt cheap compared to R9. If anything it's now very possible to farm and be able to compete with regular R9 which is more than enough seeing how almost no one has the recast rank 9, not even mentioning 3rd cast R9.

Even if at some point I have enough money to get R9R2 for my wiz I will NEVER go from a bad-*** dragon-ish magic sword to a freaking weapon that looks worse than basic NPC magic swords -_-
