Agree with comments above. One thing I will mention is you get more xp in areas that are harder for you for example if you are say level 48 and fancy a challenge try out the chasm (which is a hateful place btw) and is designed for level 50+ you will get more xp here than staying in icespire peak and finishing that. It does get harder at level 70. A lot does depend on your character yes, and also your gear. Icewind Dale and Well of Dragons are hard areas with a few mini dungeons that aren't easily soloable until you are a decent gear score 2K + and have some of your boons. I believe there is a similar issue with spire, fortress and forge in Dread Ring and Celadine in Sharandar - I saw chat about it this morning.
