Quote: "I never bothered to report, I just stopped buying Zen. (See how this works Devs?)" This. I lost one million AD by an unnecessary delay in moving AD to my account. Customer service help was non-existent, told I had to suck it up. Well I did, along with my wallet. Hamster you.
There's a kernal of a good CTA here, a resist the Zerg type skirmish, don't get overwhelmed. But it's turned from that into darn right boring by the long waits between waves. Spend more time idling than fighting or doing... well anything.
Part of the con. People will read this and think 'I can get that too'. There's always a few outliers allowed. Whether it is pure RNG is doubtful tho, certainly we don't know as Cryptic has not said. They must like you ;).
It's been in decline for a long while. But that's normal for these types of games. The trick at this point is getting new players. Some manage, some don't. Be interesting to see whether NW manages it. I think NW will have problems, they have removed the three unique points of the game, foundry, API and doggy maze. What's…
I do not know whether boxes are RNG or not. Cryptic NEVER comment as it's not in their interest to do so. Obviously RNG is used on some level to handle the trash, aka 99.99 of drops, but I suspect these boxes are something like, get one legendary in the first 50 or so openings for the vast majority of people, then absolute…
Really, really you guys need new top management. To much crooked activity around AD, too many fails in game. Auction bug where you can't place items after a patch not fixed in a year. Etc. etc. etc. No compensation for anything. Just bad. Really bad.
I commend making them better to solo. If you need people to hold your hand, you shouldn't get good drops all the time anyway. Further to that end since it's impossible to solo TOMM, I hope the gear from TOMM will be made available at Zok like LOMM? No point in cheesing off the 75% of the player base who are casual at the…
Cryptic need to take a step back and start fixing the bugs, overhaul their processes and really work on the QoL issues that plague the game. Not suggesting this is priority, but cannot believe another MOD and still the auction rejects so many placings. freakin' bugs been around for ever and apparently the Cryptic don't…
Might be a bigger change than imagined since a lot of lootboxes are not truly random. I have no idea about Neverwinter lootboxes specifically, but I do know in (some) other games, the odds are controlled by lines of code that check how much you spent in real money, whether you run a guild, how many 'legendaries' you…
Good, as I am on my third freaking Epic and I know that despite failing miserably last time the devs said they would fix this, I am sure they are up to the job this time and do not wish me to WASTE hours standing in ice getting my feet cold. Thank you.
As these free games decline, without fail from the incompetence and bad decisions of the management, the free stuff given away becomes worse and worse (they want to buy the good stuff from the IM) and the way they do it becomes more and more deceitful. Witness three more or less worthless pieces of pet gear etc. *shrug*…
They want you to buy the good stuff off the IM, so almost always what you get free is trash. ESPECIALLY for high levels (see the companion gear this time). Once in a blue moon something decent will be given away, but it's just how all the free games work.
I hate scaling on any game. GW2, ESO or here, just such a cheap and tacky way to avoid doing work. I realize these games are not 'realistic', but they should try to hold together on some level of physics. As a newbie I can defeat the evil wasps in two seconds with my 'newbie stick'. I come back 80 levels later and my…
Ranger is a particularly badly thought out version, IMO of course. Always hated, prior to mod16, that rangers best shot depended entirely on split the sky and mobs attacking me. Just so backwards it's laughable.
Feck me, how long does it take to solve this? Send me the code, I've been a programmer for almost forty years... and I'll give it to my fourteen year old to fix. Jesus wept. Real money spent on professions, all to have this cesspit of bugs.
Not talking specifically about NW here. It is strange, when I compare the various companies I have worked for and how those companies used to cuddle up to customers, and the complete lack of it in gaming, in fact I'd go so far as to say a lot of gaming companies show more than a little disrespect towards their players....…
That chultan tiger, changing 5% damage to that pathetic bonus is darn well disgusting considering how many paid out for the those tigers. Same goes for all those that spent on upgrading loads of archons only to find them rendered useless in MOD16. There's no excuse for that sort of thieving.
