Thanks for streaming my Quest. I saw something that was out of sequence, that I never saw while playing or testing. It didn't affect the Quest progression, but it could be confusing to the player. Thanks again, I am going to play your Quest now. thenk fix mine.
Thanks Bard. I agree with the one door to the Boss area I am fixing that not to open until you trigger the search for the Boss. Well since you killed Canis's wife, you are never going to know. Maybe it wasn't his wife after all...
I would appreciate it if you would stream my "Legend of Snowmane: Chapter One "In Search of the Legend" NW-DBF3JW9C4. Thanks. PS the stone steps were made one step at a time ...

In the 2D Map View there are two buttons in the upper left corner "Detail" and "Layout". When placing an Encounter in Layout mode you will see one red icon; switching to Detail will show all the mobs in that encounter (in some cases only one). This is where you can change the Group Name, and the Individual Name of each…
In the Map View (2D) Click on Detail. Place an NPC from the list or click on an existing NPC in your map. This will open the Properties for that NPC. Under the Behavior properties click "Show Parameters" The Animation button will allow you to set the various animations for that NPC. For instance to have an NPC, with no…
The final loot chest is called "Treasure Chest", the other chest is just a detail object which is called "Super Treasure". I has not loot, other than any quest item you may have it drop.
Very entertaining, different. If you are afraid of heights, and princesses don't play this Quest. Only comment: early on the mobs were a little too static ... might put them on Wander or random ambient behaviors. I will play more of the same, can't wait for the next one.
Awesome! Just Epic! Everything was done well, the atmosphere , story and battles were well laid out and flowed nicely There were side quests I didn't try, and a choice of Hard or Easy mode on the final battle. Although I managed to solo it I needed a few potions at level 30. Really nice job.
If by "switch out" you mean disappear NPC / appear Guard Encounter then you need to, by Dialogue or Objective, have the Guard Encounter Follow When completed
Guard Encounters will follow a player, they will also die very quickly. They will not cross map transitions, and sometime just disappear and then show up running after you. They are ok for short durations.
You find them by pressing L for the Landing Page. Then search by Name, Short Code, or Author. If you have a Campaign with an UNPUBPLISHED quest attached to it, you may have trouble seeing your Quest when searching. Right now the Foundry is experiencing some technical issues, that may be your problem.
On outdoor maps on the Map Tab view, click the Edit Backdrop button. There are five Sky Override selections as well as the Default, and one Background sound Override. You can also use a Detail FX called "Skyfade - ...." which gives different intensities and colors to choose from.
NPC pathing and behavior does not work all the time in Preview, especially the "Wander" behavior, you need to look at it in the e Published version in game.
Final rewards and experience are calculated by Cryptic. Foundry authors have no control over quantity, class type, or rarity of loot in the chest or dropped by mobs. There are certain other restrictions, such as not being able to place Merchant NPCs, or nodes for Dungeoneering, Religion, Thievery , etc. Dailies eligibility…
There are multiple ways to get Foundry Quests. The easiest and least roleplaying is to press "L" for your Landing Page and select one there. You can also go to any Job Board (Looks like a Bulletin Board), or you can speak to NPCs such as Harpers or barkeepers. Only certain Foundry Missions will qualify for the Cryptic…
It also depends upon your choice of words used in a sequence. For example the word "put" and the word "a" will give you a Spanish word which is deemed profane.
You can set the Y-Axis of the Mob to 0.5 ft. above the plane upon which you want to place the Mob. I have successfully used an "Invisible Wall - 20X20" rotated a to a horizontal plane for wider areas and elevated to the Y-Axis of the surface I want to place the Mob upon. This is useful for example, if you want spiders to…
NPCs will not fight, you need to use Encounter Groups. There is one Encounter named "Guards" that will be friendly, and fight with you. You can re-skin them with any Costume. and rename them as you need. You can also set them to follow you. They, however tend to get lost a lot over longer distances. They will not follow…
As far as indoor maps go, there are many templates (we call them kits). For example, Human Interior, Cave, Small Cave, Dungeon, Crypt, etc.. Kit pieces are interchangeable as well, so you could enter a cave from an outdoor map, which then leads to a trapdoor up into a dungeon, which leads to an interior... One thing you…
I will be concentrating on polishing my Foundry Campaign, and working on getting Chapters Two and Three ready for Open Beta on the 30th. If you are concerned about the flood of new players on the 30th competing for spawns, consider playing User Generated Content (Foundry Quests). Shameless Plug
