You would probably have to return it to Mod 5. Not the beginning of the game though. Remember the start playing a Cleric? One heal on the tank and all the mobs would turn to look at you - then the chase was on. Running around with every mob on you like some Benny Hill chase scene, with aggro levels so high you even got…
You know, I've been seeing these kinds of posts since Mod 6 - and players are still giving money whilst bluffing to quit. Bluffing? Well if the amount of people who threatened to stop paying/playing actually did, then the game would either get fixed or close. But it's never going to happen while people continue to hand…
Let's face it, the Foundry is a great idea that has never been allowed to reach it's full potential due to the lack of development team support. It has got further and further down the food chain and currently has the status of an unwanted step-child. Of all the features in the game, this was one of the most eye-catching.…
@tripsofthrymr having checked the feature with a larger scale setting, this is indeed the case. Which currently means you cannot have this feature working correctly if the person's faculties require a larger scale setting even with any personal visual aids. That's not really a good position to be in. Could you possibly…
It's a nice feature and will be easier on those who want to switch between say, different dps builds. However, it will be harder on those who want to change from say dps to support - warlock for example - owing to what the feature doesn't include. For those wanting more of a variety between their loadout option it will…
"only chests are suppose to be decent rewards, only the gamble is for lockboxes, not the dungeon chests, ever." - this. Opening the end chest is a reward for completing content. The more challenging, the higher the reward. Lockboxes are a gamble that you can choose to do or not. They should never be mixed. Whoever decided…
Garlaanx - good to meet you (well in forum chat anyway) Firstly thank you for all your guides, in mmominds and also the videos. Now I did post in the SW forum about your build on mmominds: http://mmominds.com/2017/01/20/garls-warlock-hellbringer-fury-pve-build-mod-10/ I have to admit that I switched to a build…
Nah, had it now. The game's gone down a one way street of keys wasted on unknown rng loot at the end of runs, interminable gear/weapon enhancement grinds, megabucks cash shop pricing. Pity but there was more than enough opportunity for Cryptic to change track.
#you-know-what-you-are-getting The game has progressed along the same road more or less since patch 6. Unlikely to change now. There are things to like in the game, enough to spend some time playing. But the introduction of increased rng, coupled with the same lack of any real variety, means the spending has stopped. This…
As Ambisinisterr said, the closest solution (bearing in mind it's an mmo) is the Foundry. This could be simply amazing. For someone who loves story based mmo's, the ability to create new scenarios, limited only by the players' imaginations, is a fantastic tool. Unfortunately, as with other areas in the game, it has been…
Since Mod 6 the Templock has not been wanted. That's not just me saying it, look at the class requests in chat. Do you ever see people asking for 'DC or Templock'? Or even just 'Templock'? Of course not. The Templock was an idea on paper that was introduced then abandoned. Abandoned with the broken promise that it would be…
But this isn't really it. The requirements are being asked for in zone chat, applying to everybody in the group as a min IL. Now the knock on effect of this of course is the exclusion of any lower item level people from higher groups, (even if they know the tactics etc). These lower geared people - who after all, are the…
Hey, I won that yesterday..........ok, there was only me doing it so theoretically I was also last. But a win is a win. So, I demand compensation for whatever's broken in the Twilight race.
Hi kvet, and thanks for replying. It's great to see guilds offering this kind of support. I'm not sure there's a great percentage that go to these lengths to give players a lift. I purposefully steered clear of using any elitism tag, for me it would just send the topic off on some forum pvp war. The main point I'm thinking…
I'd go for a simpler solution, Cryptic: 1. Fix your auto-scaling. 2. Extend the event to make up for your error affecting lower levels. Item 1 may happen, although I wouldn't hold my breath. Item 2: yeah right.....
Agree with this sentiment, if fishing has now become a 'must do' to progress then for me it's the end of the progress. Fishing I put with the other gathering/crafting options in a game. Some people play that side of an mmo and good for them, but it should never be a forced-to-progress action. There must be duller things in…
Title says it all. Auto-scaling has been missed out for lower levels who are getting one-shotted whilst doing zero damage themselves. Tried it with different level characters from 10 upwards to 70. Something ain't right and it's basically time lost for lower levels.
