  • Title says it all. Auto-scaling has been missed out for lower levels who are getting one-shotted whilst doing zero damage themselves. Tried it with different level characters from 10 upwards to 70. Something ain't right and it's basically time lost for lower levels.
  • Found the problem - it's this guy again: Video removed due to profanity.
  • crashed, now Neverenter
  • Being used as a censored word or phrase. I see this as victimization of a small cuddly animal. If they where going to use one, it could at least have been something more alarming like SKUNK :-)
  • For SW's - Mod 10.5 is the new Mod 6 Another class death knell module.
  • Let's try to focus the devs attention on one thread. There's a 4 page posting on this already up and running. http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/neverwinter#/discussion/1224701/sw-nerfed-again/p1 I've put in a separate request to make an official feedback thread - still waiting for that to happen.
  • I'm the creator of this thread, set up to debate the coming alteration to the SW. I did include a line about comparison with others - but that was simply to remind the development team of what should be happening: Class balancing. That's not against any particular class, but as a complete picture, which is how it should be…
  • I agree in the history of the up and down performance of various classes. You are right But it's not right - for class consistency and avoiding ongoing player frustration. This could be avoided by not having these major swings in class performance. All that does is annoy players, and sooner or later it will see a player…
  • Currently we are not using keys when we don't want to. They want to change that.
  • People who have actually played the SW on preview have experienced the results of this change, the degree of damage reduction as a result. It doesn't take long to see this. A couple of days at best - considerably less if you focus on logging group run outputs. An optimistic view would be to hope the development team does…
  • Shouldn't this thread be titled SW NERFED AGAIN?
  • '....key change'...? I thought it was a bug fix. This does not need delaying, it needs consigning to the trash can. The feature should remain that allows players to accept or decline without using up a key. An increase in loot drops.....to what? The old favorite - "and a chance of one of the following....[insert something…
  • How's your Temptation Warlock going on?
  • I hear that's a bug.
  • Andy: What's your favorite class to play in D&D? Or what are you playing now that you like the most? Thomas: So yeah, good question. My favorite's Guardian Fighter. I love the Guardian Fighter, but I play a really hitty Guardian Fighter... you know I stat him up that way. But what I'm doing now, one of the new things, it's…
  • Greetings. As you are no doubt aware, there is an eruption of player dissatisfaction in response to the frankly unbelievable 'this is a bug' comments by various people connected to the game company. I have posted the comments below in the key change topic - but as this now has more than 50 pages of reaction, I wish to…
  • In a noble effort to help the developers I would like to highlight some issues with the key change reasoning: 1. This is a feature. a) It has a scripted layout showing reward items with their icons and descriptions to the left of the main picture. b) Above the item listing is the line informing the player 'You will…
  • The guy must have a nose longer than pinocchio after typing that load of 'it's a bug' tripe
  • Well......venting...... Rather than a seemingly blasé attitude to people's venting, step back and ask yourself the question of why there is so much anger on here about this change. And please, do not treat the playerbase as imbeciles with this 'we spotted a bug' - after years of play across many modules and dungeons/raids…
  • This was Elemental Evil: Review: http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/634/view/reviews/loadUR/656/Neverwinter-Module-6-Elemental-Evil-Is-A-Disappointment.html Developer response: http://www.arcgames.com/en/games/neverwinter/news/detail/9213383-neverwinter%3A-looking-into-elemental-evil EE launched April 2015. steam…
  • OP - mentioned Elemental Evil module. This for me was the one that really negatively affected the game. As you say, the expansion was nothing of the sort - it was in fact a contraction. Sure there where a couple of new zones. However, most of the new ones where just old ones with different mobs, really poor. But any…
  • i will see your LOL and raise you another LOL - this would be funny to see.
  • The game was doing well - then came Judgement Day, (also known as Mod 6). This was the day the artificial lack of intelligence took over and declared war on the player race. The first indications of disaster where the mushroom clouds, as classes and content where nuked. Some of the dungeon landscapes never recovered, but…
  • I honestly think spending more time, detailing yet again the issues with the class feats, is a complete waste of time. Because - if they haven't taken notice by now of all the excellent suggestions from experienced class players spanning months and months- then they never will. They have had module after module to repair…
  • Although full rework sounds like a ton of actions for the development team, all they need to do is look at how the class was performing prior to the class damaging Elemental Evil Mod. Use this as a benchmark and go from there - particularly for the Temp. It's not that difficult for the Temptation feats. I know they had to…
  • Well I hop back in after some time away just to see what's going on, and see this - lol. Nothing changes does it. Back to my other mmo and........whatever....
  • Well I've had my say for quite a long time, but time's up. I reckon I've given Cryptic a reasonable time period to fix the SW after Mod 6 (it was Mod 6 that busted the SW, not Mod 5 as mentioned by a previous poster). But time's up. Another mmo is launching tomorrow (although the headstart began a few days ago). You can…
  • And therein lies the problem. Other classes can do perfectly well a bit lower spec'd, which is why a lot of people like them. Cryptic must recognize that not everyone will have the time (or cost) to get to top level, they'll still spend some money which is important to the continuation of the game. That's not to say that a…
