There's been three cases of set bonus alterations in the past: - Knight captain, because it allowed teams to one shot bosses - High Vizier, because it could lead to almost instant boss kills - Burning sets, because AP is too good All these sets were altered but only the set bonus was. It was given some sort of cooldown,…
Shift is supposed to be your defensive mechanism, not a speedrun tool. If you use it that way it's not the designer's problem. I don't really understand what you're trying to achieve right now. Set bonuses being altered is an extremely rare event, and i doubt it's going to be changed this time. I also doubt that the devs…
So basically with such a message you're opening the flood gates of pointless PMs about issues that could be solved with some basic google fu. Good luck.
I wasn't talking about solo content. It's not exactly difficult but there's a lot of damage going on. This is an endgame zone. I was merely talking about svardborg.
So that was during the downtime when nobody else was playing; which would imply that Cryptic's netcode is an outdated piece of HAMSTER and that the game is running on cheapo servers? Well, colour me surprised.
No it absolutely does not need a fix. It's a freaking buffing path. it's expected and should definitely be at the bottom of the dps charts. Currently it's more at the top. I'm not even counting the existing bugs some players found, which make them do do some ridiculously high dps (don't bother asking which ones, I won't…
I'd rather invite someone who isn't geared up completely but is willing to learn rather than some random wallet warrior refusing to learn to play and expecting to be carried.
Of course it effects everyone, as it defeats any kind of filtering players may want to do when they want to recruit a team to farm some of the most difficult content.
Buff mechanics are an entirely separate issue cryptic will have to address in due time, because it contributes to trivializing content balanced around very low buff levels. But the damage and control immunity powers do is much greater currently, because there is no game mechanic that can't be ignored due to that.
I wouldn't mind it if there was like in any other decent MMO an automated AFK fishing system. Designers know that it only pleases a small subset of the gaming community so they usually implement a way to circumvent the annoyance fishing is to the rest of the players that way. Well of course, we're talking about Cryptic so…
Ah come on you haven't even tried it. You should. Crafting the weapons is a ticket for hours of pain and misery, due to the insanely low drop rates on dragon turtle moult, but the upgrading process itself is really not that bad. Legendary marks aren't excessively rare, and there's also a lot of RP and artifacts dropping…
No this isn't realistic. What you're asking for is that all content is scaled to match the power of anointed army. That's not going to work. Not all teams should be forced to pick clerics. Then, it would require to redesign all of the content and all of the classes around the new standard. This is not going to happen. It's…
During the last double RP the numbers of preservation wards I needed was an anomaly. I even had a 160 wards rank 10-11 upgrade. This time I got really lucky and plenty of 2-3 tries 5% chance upgrades. There is plenty of evidence that RNG isn't flawed in this game. If anyone is interested, then I'll explain how and why.
What the HAMSTER is this whining over a discount. What a bunch of entitled crybabies. It's a discount. Drop it. If you don't like the % then vote with your wallet and please stay silent about it.
I can do that alone on my DC. No need for someone else. When you take a second DC it's to make sure all pets are buffed so that bondings give some crazy extra power, as some pets (looking at you fire archon) are stupid ranged pets that get out of the buff area. We're indeed back to module 5. Every fight is a boring…
That wouldn't be too bad if the new instance was giving moults too at a reasonable rate, but it's not giving any. When are we going to be able to escape this Heroic encounters hell? That kind of content is boring!
I'm nearly maxed out on inventory on my main and still face tremendous issues because of the hundreds of different items we have to keep for progression/gameplay reasons. Multiple sets of gear (pvp), a bit of RP, consumables, a set of enchantments (because not every build needs the same), all the event items I don't want…
I play my characters with low ilevel too and still fail to see where the challenge is in most of the content. Also, you can't have good pvp when the company making the game relies on a pay for character power economic model. Not everyone has the common sense Valve, Blizzard or Riot games have.
While I agree that mod 10 and 10.5 are too grindy and came up with too complicated ideas (chests inside a chest to get loot, 150 new items to deal with, excessively complicated restoration process for new weapons, and so on), I don't think friendlists are a reliable way to gauge the overall health of the game. People come…
Of course not, it's cryptic. They would find a bug that lets player earn 10 more refined AD than intended a day, that would get on top of the priority list for an emergency fix. But something that harms the playerbase and progression? Well, who gives a HAMSTER, it can be ignored for months.
SWs can still do absurd amounts of damage. More than BiS GWFs. I've witnessed this twice. The builds are apparently not public yet but I do have ACT reports from these runs. I still don't know what new bugs they're using because atm frankly I couldn't care less, I don't have time for this, as I barely play during week…
No, this is one of the few things I haven't tested before making this video. If I had to test every item step by step, first, I'd be bored to tears, then, I'd never publish any video as this would be excessively time consuming. All of the unusual stuff though, I tested it. Boons, feats, INT, you name it. And at some point…
There are more levelling dungeons than the game will ever need. Nobody stays low level for that long. I was talking about adding some variety to endgame content. We only have very short dungeons. A few longer ones would be nice, like the old ones.
