Hey everyone
I'm quickly wrapping up training/knowledge transfer on my end which means I working on organizing my day-to-day tasks. I just finished a round of replies to PMs to see how long it took me to sort through and answer and I wanted to be upfront about my availability. While I do promise to *look* at my PMs every day, I don't want to give the false hope that I can answer right away. For messages that I know will take some investigation or reaching out to others for more info, I will try to dash off a note indicating that. I will have a designated day each week, based on how many meetings or other projects going on, where I commit to answering PMs so hopefully that helps maintain communication for the one on one issues that you want to discuss with me.
tl;dr my inbox is always open, I may not reply right away.

Maybe if you notice a recurring theme with questions you could write an FAQ and where to direct people if the info is readily found elsewhere? Then you can just link to your FAQ (but keep the latter updated!).
I still hold the right to determine what's an issue that should be discussed with me or what is a community discussion or support issue
Your sacrifice will not be forgotten
Part of her job is to deal with the inundation... but it's in our best interest to innundate her with useful (or at least pleasant) messages. Raging at her in PM about things she can't control will simply make it harder for her to deal with things she can deal with.
Point is - we should hold her responsibe for things she should be held responsible for (like gateway blurbs in blog posts), and work WITH her on things Cryptic has done that are upsetting but not ultimately her call.
