I just logged in to play for a big and wanted to check out Gauntlgrym. But I can't. Why? Because I'm not in a guild big enough to field a team to enter. I don't want to get in to the good and bad of being in a guild, not interested in that debate. What I am interested in is why I can't do this new content without being in…
None of this will stop ninja looting. All of these things are in other games and it still goes on. This is why I no longer care about "stuff" in mmos. I enjoy the game to level cap...then I'm out and on to another game.
No. I hit level 60 without spending a dime. I'm done. Too many issues with the game, too much cheating, too many exploits, too many broken game mechanics, lackluster community, zero end game, I don't grind, I don't min-max, I don't care if I have the best of anything, not even any gear progression since you can easily gear…
The fact that most people cheat is an indication that people no longer play mmos for fun and adventure. They play it to get little trinkets and rewards that fulfill the conditioning. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operant_conditioning_chamber#Application_to_games
Gauntlgrym sounds pretty awesome, but let's look at the human nature of mmo players and apply it to the game play that will be present in Gauntlgrym: -Mixing the requirement that you PVP to PVE. PVP players will dominate because it rewards a T2 Phase 3. PVE players will rage, whine, and just quit. -Penalizing losers of the…
Didn't read the entire list/thread, just going to tack on my issues - Companions. yeah, they suck. Stand in fire/aoe. Rush in to melee combat (my healer...who shouldn't), sometimes doesn't heal me after fights so I have pop and altar and stand there or guzzle pots. - People who abandon dungeons. Yeah, they suck. They…
That's what greed roll is for. Players always rank higher than companions...period. This same debate raged in SWTOR at launch and caused PUGs to be a living hell. And it's like some of the players above that I do not join cold call questing requests, or guilds with anyone other than real friends, it's why I rarely PUG…
Wow. You are seriously my hero right now (zero sarcasm). I used very long and complex passwords that I normally paste in pw fields. NW of course does not allow pasting, so even a simple task (that seens lost on PW) like switching between characters made be want to just log completely out most of the time. Thanks!!!!
Thanks, yes I did report him. I hate doing it because I always choose the ignore route, but in this case it's hard to play with a guild invite window popping up when I'm in an instance or or getting swarmed by 8 mobs. :-/
$0 Thankfully. Because if I had spent money, then have to read about all the exploits making people rich in game and selling their AD to farmers...I would nerdrage. I will never spend a dime on this game. I like it because of the combat system and simple quickbar. But the game is rife with bugs, holes, exploiting, level…
I have yet to play a game that has good companion AI (exeption: Mass Effect, but you can give them commands if they're doing particularly dumb things), but the companions in NWO take the cake for being the dumbest I've ever seen.
You realize that for some of us it takes many weeks because we have jobs, families, responsibilities, other interests. We don't have the luxury to sit at our computer 12 hours a day and play a game.

Have you considered that some of us would not want to level up again? The game is too linear. One play through is enough for me. If they wipe...I'm out.
