  • Lots of things need upgraded and the only ones that seem to get attention are the ones that messes with players. The elimination of one kind of enchantment for a different kind of enchantment making the first ones nearly worthless immediately comes to mind. Every old enchantment above a rank 6 to rank 10 should have been…
  • Agree and I'd like to add to that spending the time to play or "grind" if you prefer, to acquire the items needed to progress in Neverwinter is much less frustrating than spending real world currency only to have the usefulness of some or all the item(s) purchased partially or totally negated after what I consider a short…
  • Once again a lot of players who paid real currency to support Neverwinter and the people who work to keep the game current and running are finding their financial contributions have either been seriously devaluated or completely negated. Seriously I know personally two people, although there are probably more, who spent a…
  • Something to be said for a NPC like Lady Begum choosing to ply their trade while standing against brick walls which is pretty much just like some back alley surrounded by what appears to be Neverwinter dumpsters... SMH... Hopefully this is just a tempory setback for Lady Begum and eventually she'll find some space…
  • I wonder how much money Cryptic/Neverwinter would make if they decided to sell what people actually wanted - instead of 'a chance' that the person would get what they wanted if they opened enough lockboxes? If someone wants a purple bear mount (as an example) they spend x-amount of zen and get that purple bear mount,…
  • YUP ^^^ What foxxy said :+1:
  • I got a 100% off character loadout from the recruitment level up chest. Double clicking on the coupon opens the zen market but the item is unavailable from the zen market. The item is available from the wonderous bazaar, but it wants 400,000 AD for the loadout.
  • The problem I'm having is there are too many in mobs that stun a players, often one opponent will release a stun effect and before a player has a chance to recover and take counter measures or attack another opponent will release a stun effect keeping the player or players rooted and defenseless. The mob's effect recovery…
  • Welcome to Neverwinter, Cryptic and PWE... :( This explains perfectly why I seldom contribute to financing the game anymore, this and all of the bound to character stuff that really shouldn't exist in the first place. Nothing should be BTC... bound to account or unbound, but nothing should be bound to character.
  • When I started playing I enjoyed the game because it was not only a bit of a challenge but it was also fun. Upon completing one area I moved on to a new, slightly more difficult area to complete that... but then came the grind ~ A lot of areas there was a clear starting point but no clearly defined ending just repetitive…
  • The "new player experience" is usually confusing for most who haven't run the same dungeons multiple times previously. For most new players it's usually about being able to learn and experience the content... for most players who have already run that dungeon multiple times it's usually about just getting to the end as…
  • Yes but players only have so many slots they can use for azure enchantments - that is if they don't want to use any of those slots for other types of enchantments, like companion influence, gold or glory boost for example. And as I already mentioned a player can purchase inscribing garments and have a set for every…
  • Kind of like asking someone if you can use their car, then complaining to them because you don't like the way it handles... Of course people can express their opinion about any change, but It's their car/game, essentially they can do what ever they want and if people find it highly objectionable they are free to move on…
  • Perhaps turn in a ticket about the "protected" item being removed from your inventory... Surely this is not WAI
  • So your premise is the event should become more difficult, more expensive and less lucrative for everyone - just because you seem to have a problem with it? Some things I will never understand...
  • Yep, my bad... I misread.
  • That's not right... not right at all ~ :s
  • Of course that's one opinion, but as the inscribed garment set is available for every character on the account and players would have to buy or refine a rank 7 azure enchantment for every character on their account, always thought this was a good investment for players starting out. Add to the fact that the inscribed…
  • Wasn't there a "change class" token or option at one time which cost zen and it disappeared about the same time "premium (you have to pay for it) classes" were introduced?
  • Some, myself included have reported the same problem. For me it was resolved when I opened the "options" in the game and clicked on the "key bind" tab, designating the "Z" key as "show/hide pathway".

  • Because a player may have plenty of preservation wards to use, but only a limited number of coalescent wards and wants to save the coal wards for something that may be considered more important... just a guess.
  • The issue for some of us is those spaces are needed for other things. When I run a Cleric I have mass scrolls of life and when running other classes I might want to run with a buff potion for what I think will benefit be at the moment. I suppose I could open the inventory and click on something from there but it is quicker…
  • If something has 50 charges (new minor stone of health) and something else has 10 charges (used stone of health) there should be a way to "stack" them for 60 charges... I can see the problem with trying to stack minor healing stones (green) with major healing stones (blue), but we were previously able to "stack" various…
  • Scrolls of Life do not drop during quest and campaign runs so a person has to buy them with Zen or Astral Diamonds. For those players who aren't into the grind or have money to just throw away it takes quite a while to build up a sufficient supply of AD's to buy those better Enchantments, Runestones, Mounts, Companions,…
  • The "minimum item level" has always been a but under rated as far as I'm concerned. Minimum Item Level for entrance into an queue does not mean anyone with that minimum item level will be able to significantly contribute much to the success or completion of that queue. At best those minimum item level characters are more…
  • The glittering path to Knox didn't take you to his new location?
  • For things to work properly it's usually best not to skip quests offered by Sgt Knox, particularly the tutorial quests that tries to teach new players how to better play their character. ¢¢
  • Silly me... I'm no psychologist or any other kind of gaming trend guru, but I always thought people came to a game, and stayed, because they enjoyed playing that game. Not because anyone felt they made true and meaningful friendships in an online game. There is one thing I consider particularly insightful in what you said…
  • I find it hard to believe that there were only 24 players, at any one time on Neverwinter... yeah maybe 24 players in a particular instance, but that doesn't mean only 24 people playing Neverwinter. Something that was correctly I believe, brought up on the last TWITCH broadcast is online MMO's such as Neverwinter seem to…
