Hence why I never, ever, used pre populated maps, I wish they had a version of this one that was empty becauseit has a lot of neat areas which could be useful.
Hey all, Quick update, I plan to have the 2nd map close to finished this weekend and will be inviting players to help me test out the map and find holes, if your interested please send me a friend invite in game and a quick in game mail or post here on this page and I'll get in touch with you. I hope to have more pictures…
Actually Angrysprite, I would have to respectfully disagree with you on this point. All of my maps are nearly maxed out on a number of budgets (mostly details) :) and while I do not want to come off as narcissistic in any fashion, I do not consider the maps I build to be armature at best...just saying. ;)
Awesome Winin! Glad to see your still around and creating! I've learned a lot since my last project and this new one is shaping up to be really awesome!
Yeah, Sorry about that Orangefiree, it was published way before HR so I never could have known that we would have that class back then, however I have done a number of revisions and fixes to the normal version. Just to toss this out there as well, currently I have one map published for combat testing for my new dungeon the…
Thanks esk I appreciate you being so thorough in finding the holes The next map I am working on is a treck through the montains to reach the ruins, I am taking ideas for what everyone would like to see on the journey through the mountain. So far you walk through a hollowed out secton of the mountainside over seeing a…
Thanks everyone for helping me run this, breaking the map, and giving crucial feed back weather it be fun or not so fun all of this really helps! I'll be sure to make a ending credit stone in the dungeon once all is said and done :) ALPHA TESTERS: @swip4 @Kimbriel @eskarine @Pawelke @Zharvosa @Orangefiree
Lol over a year later and that is the first time some one has mentioned that! :P thanks dtz, I'll jump in and fix it right now. Look for my new dungeon should be set for 2-3 players and has an awesome new setting and look, been working tirelessly on it today but it's shaping up to be very cool.
It will be set in Ice Wind Dale and you can travel to it from the world map, however you can play it at any level in any group size. I'm adjusting the encounters for 2-3 2 being a challenge, and 3 being a good dungeon romp. soloing is possible but it may be very challenging for some classes.
Thanks all, and right on, yea still milling over the boss bit...the boss rooms will be a completely separate map so if they day ever does come for boss encounters I won't have to worry so much about changing up a room. I have taken your puzzle idea and added in 3 out of the way and partially hidden pressure plates, not so…
Thanks for the feedback maegmaag, Sorry about the delay in chapter 3 >.< would be much different if I was actually doing this for work hehe. Interesting idea with the puzzles, what sort of puzzles were you thinking about? what kind of puzzles would you like to see in a dungeon delv? I'm keeping in mind that they are not…
I thought I would just leave a cautionary bit of info for you, as a player to a fellow player, any foundry which is created for the intention of circumventing the games natural progression of things to earn quick XP, Loot, or other items are a violation of the games ToS. There I have delivered my warning, I can't say what…
6 weeks should be sufficient I would think, it takes that long just to make sure it's quality (conceptually, story, and environment wise), even if it's for only for 15 min.
No problem darknyarth, Thank you for the feedback, it's the only way we ever know if something goes eyrie with the quests we make :) I'm glad you enjoyed them and thank you even more for taking the time to play them. Happy adventuring!
Hey there Darknyarth, It is possible it's bugged, every time they release a new module it most always changes many aspects of the foundry which can result in quest crippling bugs. You can exit out using the little door icon on your mini map in the upper right corner of the screen and then reenter to see if it fixes the…
Personally I hate PvP, I hate the mentality of the players it draws (not all players mind you but roving wolf packs who troll for fun) and I hate the way it totally ruins PvE for PvE players because of the complaints that classes are unbalanced and need to be nerfed. PvP needs to be segregated, not just in it's own open…
