I don't blame him. I like using Bite's HoT for those moments that I need to focus more on defense. It makes my character's rotation…

> @flowcyto said: > I think that's a bug, as the tooltip states that it scales w/ bleed stacks. I figured so. It defeats the purpose of stacking bleeds with it. Before I was getting 1000+ on 5 stack. Now it's only 200ish, or the equivalent of 1 bleed. Hope they fix it soon. I'll report it. Thanks.
Please change Swallowtail Cut's application chance to 100% on single target. The 50-100% scaling chance is fine for other targets only. It would also be great if the advantage was more useful against higher ranks somehow. Thanks for listening to my feedback about making Swallowtail Cut apply on targets with bleeds on them.…
After further testing Scything Blade on both live and PTS, I can honestly say that the PTS version is clunky and unreliable. The 50-100% chance with charge addition and the pre-existing Swallowtail Cut not applying with normal bleeds just makes the advantage too much of a gamble. So here are my suggestions: 1) Swallowtail…
Scything Blade: Since this power is being reviewed, I wanted to point out Swallowtail Cut will still not apply with pre-existing normal bleeds. This has always been a huge flaw with the advantage, and now with the new charge time, it seems like too many things need to be in sync just to get it to work. One suggestion is…
I noted this in the suggestion forums as well: We have Energy Unlocks that scale with REC, END, INT, PRE, DEX and Ego. So what gives with the lack of STR? Relentless (MA) on PTS seems like a missed opportunity, with the devs once again giving us END. Could we please get one EU that scales with STR and is somewhat…
Although this isn't a bad suggestion, I think having the heal scale with bonuses would balance things out better. Prior to the nerf, Willpower with full stacks, was more powerful than BCR (w/o RR). Now it's more on par with BCR, but BCR's heal can be adjusted with bonuses, whereas Willpower's heal cannot. If they change…
I think what makes Relentless confusing is Wild Thing EU already exists. Relentless doesn't really bring anything new to the table. Scales with END and is bleed reliant.
Increased amount Willpower heals. New Willpower gives 150 a tick. Old Willpower was 111 a tick, and stacked 3 times. Seems like a big nerf. Any chance we can get the new Willpower to at least scale with Pre and other heal bonuses? New Power: Relentless I was excited about this until I logged on and saw another EU that…
I considered that after reading your guide earlier, but last night I tested it in the powerhouse and Disintegrate was refreshing with Paticle Smash. Maybe they fixed it? As far Enrage and cd goes, I just cycle my two knocks (3 if you count Particle Smash's AoE). It takes a little discipline, but I have both knock cds under…
They should also add GCR to Rampages. They're changing Justice Gear on PTS so it will require both tokens and GCR. If Justice Gear and Rampages are considered a part of end-game, shouldn't GCR drop there too? I agree with the OP though. Obtaining GCR from TA and Cosmics is extremely slow atm. Having to grind is one thing,…
Tokens need to be done away with. Rampages should drop both GCR and SCR, but the grind should be greater than TA/Cosmics. This way casual players can still obtain the best gear, but it comes at a cost. This is really the only way to cater to both casual/elite players, while lowering the odds of all of us getting burned out…
First of all, thank you for the Single Blade changes. I can finally make a vampire swordsman build without feeling like I'm selling myself short on stacking bleeds. I would like to make a few suggestions: 1) Please increase Stim Pack's big heal to work on HP at 30% and below (originally 20%). It's just a tad bit too low.…
A lot about holds needs revision. Manipulator still doesn't work with a lot of holds. Most holds remain weak and random. As you pointed out, some holds got some loving, while others aren't even worth looking at. When it comes down to customization and sticking with a theme, picking a decent hold can be a deal breaker.
So I found a build with better results based on your advice. I kept Defiance and replaced Pre secondary with Int secondary. I dumped 70 into Pre and 125 into Int, which gives me +20 energy a tick with MSA. I dumped my extra secondary points into Con and raised it by +100, up to 425. Because my defense was well over 100%…
I'm relying on Decimate for Disorient. I mainly pushed Pre past 70 for Brutality, which has it's severity scale off secondary stats. That and the extra Pre also helps Pistol Whip's stun a little. My rotation, in order, is Decimate (root), Eruption (knock up), tap Arc of Ruin (resist pen), Burst Shot (resist pen), Pistol…
It's a good passive. Damage-wise it's on par with Ego Form and ID Mastery in hybrid. Only catch is you can't switch to ranged, but you can go support (unlike EF and IM). Personally, I think it's much easier to stack high defense and heals with Seraphim than it is with EF and IM. With the right stats and powers you can be…
Don't leave it at that. Increase the drop rate chance on the first one as well. I see a lot of posts about F&I successful pugs being rare. Well, I just did 15+ successful pugs the last time it was up. Not one token! Most of the problem is the poor drop rate and RNG sucking at times.
Yeah RNG can be pretty horrid at times. Sometimes 1-3 attempts and a token can drop. Then there's my recent F&I activity. 15 successful attempts and not one blasted token to be seen. What makes it worse is the last time F&I was up, nothing dropped for me with 12 successful attempts. RNG has been so bad, I've even triple…
These are valid points and concerns. Rampages are dying down, which makes the success rate and bad RNG seem even worse. This is one of the reasons why I suggested awhile back they add more rewards for tokens. To keep ques healthy.
Pretty much how I feel. After playing EQ and later WoW, I never understood the need for level increases. It just makes existing content even more obsolete than it needs to be, while killing replay value with alts. I'd much rather have one level cap, and new content be expanded upon it regularly.
Bug: Glow Eyes and Swirly Eyes. Randomly doesn't display when equipped. Usually drops the vfx when logging in or zoning. There is no pattern to correcting the problem. Just unequip and reequip. Sometimes it corrects the problem. Sometimes it doesn't. I've also tested removing all other equipped auras to make sure one isn't…
So you're saying they should have made a primary aura that changed all power vfx into one? For example, if I chose chaos aura, all my selected powers would have a chaos vfx. If so, I would be cool with that.
I've had similar bugs lately. I had glow head, chaos (full), shadow form and glow eyes all equipped yesterday. When I zoned into the powerhouse from rencen, none were being displayed. I put my visual settings on high and unequipped and reequipped my auras to fix the problem. I lowered my settings back down afterwords. Glow…
Hex of Suffering does not proc Concentration. Hex of Suffering with Rank 2 and Rune of Lethargy does not proc Manipulator. Works fine with Rank 1 and Rune of Lethargy. Telekinetic Burst does not proc Concentration. Ego Form does not apply it's cost discount to Telekinetic Burst. Ego Specialization "Insight" does not apply…
That makes sense. However, vet cores should be bound to account (instead of on pickup). I just hate the fact that my 3 existing characters get to keep their dual vet cores, yet any new character I create from now on will be limited to 1 and be at a disadvantage. The whole thing kind of discourages me from creating another…
I like pvp, but as you pointed out, there's major issues with balance in this game. That's why I usually hesitate when it comes to jumping on the "promote pvp" bandwagon. As long as things are left majorly unbalanced, you'll always have players that will be discouraged to participate, even if you throw a bunch of…
Tack Manipulator and Concentration on the list. Manipulator still has quite the list of hold powers it doesn't proc with, while Concentration isn't proccing with some aoe ranged powers like TK Burst and Hex of Suffering. While we're on the subject of broken powers, what's up with Imbue's 12 break free? It's been there…
Last week was the first time time I had switched back to melee after On Alert. This quote is very, very true. That was one of my biggest concerns with the cc nerf - melee not being able to stick on their target long enough to be effective.
I agree with all of this, but I'm sure such fixes don't come easy, and I just can't see the current dev team investing the time. One thing is definitely for sure, accessing pvp debuffs is both costly and limited. Trauma should be on more powers, while Crippling and N2G should be cheaper. While we're on Trauma, that's a…
Still want the following... Organic Sword Chainsaw Sword ... and yes, the claw set needs to be released. The claw options right now are underwhelming. Also, want more weapon on back options.
You do realize melee would destroy ranged if that was the case. Not only would melee be able to lunge and disable ranged's mobility with N2G, but they would also get to keep their travel power on 100% of the time while doing so. Lol, no. I do like the suggestion about crippling challenge on more ranged powers though.…
Really? Do you have a link? If it doesn't stack, then it's a bug (which this game has many of). My gloves state -15% damage resistance twice, so no indication it shouldn't work.
Lemurian Invasion and F&I are usually the worst for me. I think why Gravitar is decent is because it pops frequently. Sky Command and Lemurian Invasion are usually the ones I see que times take the longest on. F&I can be bad too if terrible pugs are queing for the day. Waited almost 40 minutes tonight for a Sky Command…
Seems lately ques are taking a long time. Even on a Saturday afternoon I've been waiting well over 30 minutes for Fire and Ice to pop. It's kind of discouraging waiting that long for Rampage pops, the chance of getting a fail/successful group, then having RNG and the low drop rate give you the finger in the end. Either…
Thanks. While I'm at it I also want to put out an alternative to my build. The difference being INT is maxed out instead of STR. That and switching out Enrage for Concentration. The pros with this build is you can go Hybrid for better heals, yet the damage loss isn't even noticeable. You also get bigger energy gains from…
Well I know my own dilemma is the auras I currently use and the Ego Form vfx clash. So it's either drop my auras or the power, both of which are a huge bummer. It's too bad auras didn't come with a 3rd option of non-combat only. That way we could disable the auras that don't blend well with character vfx powers.
That works too. Anything that makes the character vfx on this power optional is a plus. Right now it contradicts the advantage of having auras around. It more or less forces you to have a character vfx regardless whether you want it or not.
Although this game has put out way too many fantasy costumes in the past, it still lacks a decent selection of medieval helmets. The current knight helm is terrible. The Skewer helm is okay, but it's only ideal for demon knight themes. It would have been nice if the Dark Fantasy set also came with a helm. I hope they have…
