  It can work alright, though in this case I think it'll be made worthwhile via BCR/RR - that is if ya dun mind the dmg penalty.

  I don't mind the penalty with BCR because I'm mostly single blade. Which would you say would be better for this approach? Defiance or Invulnerability?

  They're both good picks if ur tanking. If ur just being a sturdy hybrid, then I'd take Invuln cause you aren't necc trying to hold aggro to make Defiance reliable in groups. If ur tanking, then you may instead want to ask if you want to save 4 adv points w/ taking Defiance and/or if you could use the extra energy it grants.

  In general adding a bit of dodge to your build gives you a bit better average mitigation but a bit worse reliable spike resistance. For soloing average mitigation tends to be where it's at, for team play spike resistance matters more.

  ^ I agree, though BCR/RR kinda throws a wrench into the equation (when included), since its not providing outright mitigation in of itself.
