Yes zonechat. They probably have swapped into the forums for one post or another, but I'm not in the forums enough to catch any of them I guess. I was probably generalizing a bit in the other post, but I do believe most of the chats I got caught up in was with mostly ex- CoX players. When I left last august ( rl reasons,…
Criticism is always good, but there's a way to go about such things. Some of the things I see hurled in the forums are just ugly, especially when you have an opinion that doesn't coincide with the seeming vast majority. Or when you speak out against it. And I am not even speaking of here in the forums when I speak of…
It's all in the delivery, my friend. Constructive criticism and ranting and raving is, and always will be, a difference from day to night. It's not about telling the business to ignore the customers, it's about knowing how and when to affectively make your opinion known. The toxicity level in the playerbase has most…
I think the main problem with this is that they need to DO something while watching, so they use that time watching in rencen to troll in zonechat....in the powerhouse they're just cut off from their lifeline lol. The lag they produce irks me a bit as well. Saphire and her damn cake seems a godsend when considering this.
Yes, I think what irks me more than promised content is what you perfectly describe as "our toxic playerbase". I for one, returned in July, and although the thing with the lockboxes is totally new to me, I am not minding it so much because what makes me stay in the game is all the content I haven't even played yet. This…
I keep reading posts in which its basically being said that because the game allows this behavior, it's perfectly unnatural to complain about individuals lack of deciding against this behavior. Unnacceptable. Now,I am not so anal retentive against lowbies in an alert, unless there's more than one, mainly because I am not…
I used to be in a marvel sg, and I have to say NOT being in one has definitely proven to be a much easier pill to swallow, mainly because most of them are literal kids. They are drama filled sandbox pretenders who may know they are breaking the rules, but don't really care. I go by the principle live and let live. I am in…
I've been struggling with the incompetent support billing for a month now. Apparently there is some sort of error code and they reply to me they don't know what it means. I get on the phone with Paypal ( PWE would literally have suicide deaths in their call center if they were to use a phone system) and they tell me all is…
I've never had any problem with erper's, even those in my sg that choose to do so because there's a certain decorum that doesn't get breached. What I can't stand are those that never really have any sort of off button, but they don't really harass me as such as they annoy me. Igno button works wonders in such a case.…
I am a staunch lover of this game. Come hell or high water, i always find something to do, be it chatting, content. ap's runs, tailors ( ermahagahd the tailor's <3 <3) Its all a matter of perspective.
They tell me due to some error code that the transaction hasn't happened yet. No explanation of course what that code means exactly. And I call Paypal and see that everything is actually in perfect working order....how in the hell am I supposed to move forward with this??
Sadly, another victim here. And I logged over to another character to switch something and logged back...I wasnt in westside anymore but infront of the PH. Like wtf.
Having a paypal problem, the message in the headline appears and it seems I cannot find any info on it. I used to have a 3 month sub and it would go automatically from the paypal acc without a hitch, but I let the sub run out and havent returned until recently. Upon trying to reactivate, i managed to change the 3 month sub…
So it isn't safe to reactivate my sub? I haven't been playing for about year and returned recently; was planning on reactivating within the next two days...is it safe to do so?
I don't know how it usually is here, but some big name companies actually hire out their customer service to temp companies, so that the information they themselves have is limited to what pops up on their screen. But, since Cryptic is part of pwi now isnt it just more expediant to use a form of paypal or moneybookers to…
Oh yeah I know that, I've been playing since January and noticed the player-base is a little different than what I'm used to in other games. Rarely have come across creepers and know from experiance how to handle them. Good looking out though :) P.S Yeah I know Club Caprice, and nothing against normal rpers ( not a hater),…
It seems you cannot swim in water, because everytime I come out of it the whole game crashes to the desktop. Is this a known thing? Something perhaps on Cryptic's side or a driver issue? Anyone with any intel on the matter is ofc greatly appreciated.
I am so going to laugh when they announce that the banks that were cleared out will still be that way once the server's back up. Forums will be smoking then. BTW, beautiful day outside today, got a tan!:tongue::biggrin:
I certainly hope so as well Raven. It's one thing to gain something by adverting it up on the screen, but another bite in the tailbone if this makes this game a nuisance.
You should do these "npc from player" contests more often. I like th idea behind some of them, but haven't been in the alerts too much to notice any buggage.
