Maintenance tomorrow will begin at 3PM PDT. The Flag Speed event won't be right after maintenance -- it'll start at 5:30 PM.

Start time, maintenance: 3 PM Pacific
Estimated duration: 1 - 1.5 hours

Start time, Flag Speed: 5:30 PM Pacific

EDIT: Due to an issue we discovered, where some stuff that should've been hidden until it was ready for prime time was visible, we're working on a new build. 3PM PDT is the new planned time.

Will the disconnect problems be looked at with this maintenance? That is pretty much the only thing I am worried about.

I found an easy fix for the disconnect problem. A couple nights back when people were having problems I was doing fine till I mentioned the disconnect problem then bam, d/c'ed.

Last night, I never mentioned it or saw it mentioned and no problem. :)

I like the way this sounds.

According to the ingame calendar, the Red Winter custom alert will start the July, 5.

Wouldn't be suited that the alert necessary for things starts at the same time than the opportunity of getting the special Speed Flag power?

    Waitaminute...

So you're holding a maintenance UNTIL THE END OF YOUR WORK DAY?

So, if stuff (like the DISCONNECT ISSUE) is still broken, c'est la vie! We're off for the 4th!

I plan on sticking around for an hour or so after maintenance, and everyone else is on call.

Well, when they do it at the beginning of their work day, people in Europe complain that it hits during their prime playing hours, and then any fixes come after they've gone to bed...

I have no idea what they are.

    But it's good.

So, they can get on and play (provided they aren't still randomly DC'ing all over the place).

    Huzzah...

Basically this sort of thing just smacks of "We'll do it this way and HOPE that it all works out!"

Us Europeans don't really complain about this, we just put up with it.

That is not 100% Accurate. You may not, but others sure have.

Then again this is a Forum for a MMO, so there is complaining all over the place about anything.

Yes. I wish to lodge a formal complaint about all of you people who are not complaining.

I can't remember ever seeing a post from a European complaining about the times of the usual Thursday, late afternoon (for us) maintenance.

Because the maintenance usually hits when people are at work/school/pub.

I have a strong philosophical stance against lockboxes.

...but if that's the only way to get these new costume pieces, my ethics will be powerfully strained...

I think I'll just purchase these unlocks from players this time around. The Forum box took 200 keys to get just the vehicle to drop and I ended up trading for the Become that is still broken and BoE.

    Same here.

I sincerely hope that there won't be any issue with the material (Cloth/Leather/Metal) on these costume parts...

The new costume set is cloth only.

Duh!! <insert here double facepalm please>

Anyway, I'd like Traiturtle confirm if this is intended or a forgetful forgetting. I'm sure lot of people would like to access these costume parts in several material; and lack of choice could (would) lead to neglecting this lockbox and its purchase.

I don't know whether it's working as designed, at present -- I'm in office, but Cryptic North has the day off. I will ping them and let them know, though, thanks for the heads-up.

    Hey, also- FYI

The torso doesn't scale with the character model. Same issue as the alien gladiator chest.

(Get on this, 'cause it's cruicial to an Iris Irregular costume I'm making for you!)

Oh! Could you also mention that the login screen has reverted to pre-fix days. So it no longer remembers your PWE login ID.

Because that's what it took to fix Bisselle? Just a guess...
