If anyone is still wondering I checked and every D7 available in the "Acquire New Ships" menu had the option for the Romulan version, even the fleet versions of the D7. I'm assuming it's because I have the Legendary D7. Maybe some day I'll get the Temporal D7 and I'll see if it has that option as well.

I'm not sure that having the Legendary D7 will unlock that skin for a lockbox D7. I'm not even sure it'll unlock it for the Fleet D7 or any of the other lower tier D7s either. I don't own the Temp D7 so I can't check that but I do have a Fleet D7 I can check tonight. I know the Kelvin D7 barely has any options for skins…

I like that they did this. I went ahead and got the starter pack because of it, actually. It might be a while before I'm able to get the full Gamma pack, and it's nice to have a new ship and access to the Vanguard in the meantime.

Interesting point about the dual quantum torpedo launchers, something that I've felt has been missing from the Defiant ever since they put it in the game. It got its quad cannons, so why are the launchers still conspicuously absent? That said, it looks good.

I feel like the introductory mission needs to be split into pieces. Having one long mission is fine when you have plenty of free time, but some of us have real life stuff that doesn't allow us to sit and do that. That one mission could probably stand to be about 3 shorter missions, IMO.

The Zen store doesn't have to be available. All they have to do is make the Ship Selection vendor guy in the shipyards actually work like he's supposed to.

I will never be a fan of the Gamble Boxes. I prefer systems where I know what I'm paying for. It means "Welcome to obsolescence" and "buy more keys to gamble for a slim chance at the newer shinier better version of what you had!" Pretty awesome, right?
