I'm not quite sold? Tacs will still rock any ship, sci will rock anything with exotic damage, and engineers will rock anything that can take advantage of MOAR POWER - i.e. boosting aux power for exotic damage.
DPS goes down in general, while the number of cannon-armed battle spoons remains the same. Yeah, the queues are going to take a bit of a hit until the new meta is sorted out.
A serious thread by Oden? I'm in. As someone pleased as punch that tanking might actually be a thing again, not for me. FBP is still going to be a nice thing for tanks to have, and IFBP more so for those without access to max aux and APA. I'll still need to do some testing - and grab regroup on my Tribble toon - but my…
I'm enjoying the buffs to weapons, grav well, team support, and recharge time. Did DRB get nerfed? I can't really tell, everything dies faster. I haven't checked ground combat, but its nice to have my mines, drones, and turrets all buffed at the same rate now.
Timelines's story involves a mishmash of histories and alternate histories that would make the Doctor sob uncontrollably over his TARDIS console. And for $ome rea$on they decided to make mid 23rd century starships the equal or better of mid-to-late 24th century ones.
Everything I needed to know about being a Starfleet officer, I learned from James T. Kirk. "Don't let them promote you. Don't let them transfer you, don't let them do anything that takes you off the bridge of that ship, because while you're there, you can make a difference."
Excelsiors fought in the Dominion War and were present for Voyager's return. How many Constitutions were? Make the Excalibur, Vesper, and Exeter all Sovreign skins. Boom. Done.
null The Luna is good enough for Admiral Riker, its good enough for me. Its STO canon and the best looking sci ship of the lot. null So whoever has the most buttons on the screen wins? That's a new one.
The most fun I'm having right now came from jumping off the beamboat train and putting together a canon-ish T5U Fleet Luna. Brittle as all get out - even with an engineer at the helm - but its an incredible sight when all the firepower and sci magic comes together. Graga Mal wasn't cheap, but he was worth it.
Do what? Time warp Geordi to the present day to technobabble the DDoS away? If you have any valuable tips as to this joker's real life identity, I'm certain PWE's lawyers would love to hear from you. Until then, Cryptic's putting out the fires as best they can.
Now that you mention it, I can kinda scratch my head at Intel over Command. Rally Point is a godsend for pets, and the only carriers with Command are the command cruisers.
See, I knew I should've named a ship the Goeben. The poor girl gets forgotten so often. And let's not talk smack on the Hood when there were a few dreadnoughts that took the golden BB as well.
Oh, and my only comment on the thread hijack: Match the window pattern on the Excel and Excel Refit to the movies and series model before starting work on sci ships for factions that won't bother buying them in the first place. Seriously, who in the name of Laforge is camping out at the tail end of my warp nacelles?
Not sure if I'd buy it - Grandpa Spyral needs more than five engineering powers, I've discovered - but that looks like a fun ship to build and fly, regardless. I wonder how small its going to make my Excelsior look. ("Remember when the Excelsior was a big ship? Pepperidge Farm remembers.")
Amen to that. The fleet Alita's got speed and all the escort tricks, the fleet Yamato's a freaking beast, and the fleet Arbiter's a flying easy mode button. But there's nothing quite like exploring the galaxy in the starship you watched in wide-eyed wonder when it first showed up on the silver screen. The Excelsior still…
Yeah, I'm not saying its a bad style of flying. Its great for pin 'n spike or if you can vape before the mobs take advantage of your lack of defense. I don't quite have the goods for either, so I have to speedtank for now. Great Scott, I can imagine. I regret missing out on one of those when I had the chance.
What, you mean this game is full of gasp trolls? Heaven forbid! On-Topic: Four months in with my DR Fed Engie, I'm parsing 15k+ on a T5U Ambassador with blue Mk XII phasers. Granted, she's also running Iconian gear and I have the Crystalline Event to thank for that. Still. I don't spacebar everything and I don't park 'n…
