I strongly suspect that the account-wide unlock of event ships will be T6s only. So, Samsar yes, Dyson ships and Ambassador/Kamarag no. Sarr Theln yes, Plesh Blek and Chel Grett no until they get T6 updates.
Maybe there's something I'm missing here, but shouldn't the 3-piece bonus on the space shield/deflector/engine/core set make it a serious contender for best in slot for DPS, if you throw in the romulan engines or 8472 counter-command deflector?
Yeah, that's where we START fighting them. OP said our character also personally ENDED the conflict against them, which as far as I can tell is still ongoing.
Maybe I missed something, but where did the Voth ever end their conflict with us? The one Voth commander who showed up at the Turei homeworld was willing to work together against the Vaadwaur, but as far as I can tell the Voth in general are still very much at war with the Alpha/Beta quadrant powers.
Wouldn't it be even more cost effective to craft at Mk. VI then? Not like the green materials are any more difficult to find or more expensive than the white ones, and it should save you a significant chunk of dilithium. It's only at Mk. XI that you start needing to craft purple components.
Last time I checked, the Hargh'peng and Aceton Beam aren't affected by +radiation damage mods, because the damage source is mechanically the target, not yourself.
So, the new Lobi set 2-piece gives a fairly substantial boost to plasma projectile damage. Is that going to be worth running a plasma loadout with the KHG set now? Say the new hazari corrosive torp, particle emission torp, and romulan hyperflux in fore, and the hazari plasma mines in aft?
I think protonic polarons are pretty much exclusively made for Dyson ships that want to stack +Proton damage for their dual cannons and experimental proton weapon anyway. Bio-Molecular seem a bit better. Snares are always nice, and it helps that Disruptor is a great energy type to begin with. Expect to see more Undine…
Smart business move on Cryptic's part, by the way. For all the people complaining about the Mat'ha's turn rate, you're obviously intended to want to throw the Qib's Tier 5 Ship Trait onto it.
If we're using the counter-command tac console and bio-molecular weapons, how would throwing in the doff that gives Charged Particle Burst a radiation DOT work with the Mat'ha starship trait?
