Windows isn't my issue, it runs perfectly for everything, including this game, it's just this games software!

LOL this game gets more and more worthless every time it gets updated. Not even more than a month has gone by since my last time playing and it working ok, now it crashes once again over and over again with zone loading!

Most often it won't boot you for a DC, but it sometimes will, and especially if you crash. The system would rather boot you, than enforce a possible penalty I suppose. Not that a penalty might be imposed, if it isn't warranted.

The penalty works, but some people are being DC, and some may be simply leaving. Those who are DC, tend to login only for it to boot them from the team and mission.

The only ship I have with a registry #, is my fed human. U.S.S. Shadowwraith NX-98472. All other ships use Imperial names.

Not compatibility mode, use the actual compatibility troubleshooter, as it can sometimes actually repair issues W10 has with some drivers and programs!

New install of a W10 OS build, you may want to run compatibility troubleshooter for ARC and STO. This may clear up any issues!

Reduce file streaming has never been my issue, as I have had this on since S4. It wasn't until S9 and beyond, that CTD became an issue, with this issue becoming worse with every new addition to this game!!!
