The sounds are the best part. The 24th/25th Century are all so...polite with their soft tone(you can't even call them a proper beep for God's sake). Whereas the TOS computers are just heavy duty, every button not only has a proper beep or buzz, but you can hear the fracking relay cycle. I love it!

It seems small until you consider that they added a TON of voice work. All the new missions are largely VOed and a lot of the older ones that I haven't done in a while are as well.

As has been noted, you can get all the dual beam phasers you want from episode replays of "Everything Old is New". I've been running a full set of classic phasers for a couple years now. They are a TRIBBLE to upgrade though.

I'll be honest, at 38 years old with a shoddy memory and the sheer ubiquity of Star Trek in my life, I can't remember a time when I wasn't a fan, maybe when I was very small. Well, they are universal. Most universal slots are ensign anyway, so it would not be a huge increase in power, but you could still restrict it to command/intel/pilot ships that already have a higher grade boff chair.

Hmm, I'd like it to have a similar layout to the Kitty Carrier with 4 total boffs, LTC Tac, LTC Engi, Comm Sci and LT Sci. Basically the kitty carrier with slightly less science and slightly more tac.

In point of fact, Cryptic does a fine job with the game given it's history before it got dumped in their laps. And they've demonstrated, on multiple occasions, that they are fairly large fans of the show and giant nerds to boot.
