I know others have been asking for this, but can we maybe get some more Orion, Ferasan, Caitian, Vulcan, Tellarite etc ships?
Especially the Orion. The Slavemaster Battleship would make an excellent science dreadnought cruiser...

From what I understand, the Vulcan, Gorn and Orion ships didn't sell very well. Things that don't sell well don't get much attention, sadly.
having bought 2 of the 3 gorn ships I'd love more, esp a non-sci one. I'd also buy up some Ferasan designs, given their Kzynti root and mentality they could easily buff up the raptor lines.
I put the Orion ships, personally, in the not pretty and not useful categories.
They are not specifically interesting enough by themselves. If they had purely orion crews and we could get the orion fighters as pilotable small craft. They would go much higher on the must buy list.
At least for me.

Yea, I intended for small craft to be included in terms of "more ships"
that would be cool. I don't understand why vulcans, Andorians etc who were space travellers since a long time when humans were still in caves playing with stones to make fire, would not have put in the design of the federation ships a part of their expertise.
why the design of the ships should be only human? the Andorian ships or the vulcan ships are very nice,

There isn't that many different faction ships in the game
Varanus - the only gorn ship isn't a great ship (I got it though)
Marauder and Guremba and the T6 one- the three Nausicaan ships. They are fun but 2 of them aren't toptier anymore. The T6 Guremba came with new fighters - they could add that as playable fighter .
Orion - the corsair is the only T5 ship. You cannot even Change the Bridge or Skin without having to pay 1500 Zen. Also the science command cruiser has same console layout as my upgraded T5U Fleet Corsair - but better seating (due to being T6).
The Vulcan ship Looks amazing...but it's a T5 Sci ship on the wrong side - I already have 3 or more T6 science ships on Fed side.
Problem is that the few ships they had are lower Tier - so outdated. And even for levelling a new toon I have better ships. I liked the Flair they gave - my Orion sci was captain of a fl. Corsair, but the command ships are just better. My Nausicaan engineer also flies the Kolasi, but only as secondary ship. My Gorn has levelled his T5U Varanus....but put in in docks ever since.
I tried to give the game a bit more Flair, but....well Efficiency first. Rest is for fun runs with friends

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

If they gave a new Vulkan ship the same stats as the new Temporal ships, then they would sell.....Or any of the OP stats of the newer ships...
It is just a skin after all.
But i can definitely see them making a fully underwhelming ship with too few weaps, bad boff seats and useless traits, and then telling us ships other than futuristic sharp lined TRIBBLE never sell....

The Marauder is a T5 Orion ship... and there are 7 total Nausicaan ships (Vandal, Scourge, Scourge retrofit, fleet Scourge retrofit, Guramba, Kolasi and fleet Kolasi). Nevertheless, you make a good point about many of them being outdated due to being lesser tier. Hopefully one day Cryptic will add good T6 species ships (fingers crossed for a T6 Orion carrier or science dreadnought )
hmm, I just thought of something. To go with a T6 Orion carrier, the ability to launch Orion corvettes. We met them in the Nimbus arc, why can't we have them as frigate pets?
that would be cool. I don't understand why vulcans, Andorians etc who were space travellers since a long time when humans were still in caves playing with stones to make fire, would not have put in the design of the federation ships a part of their expertise.
The first Earth ship to actually be designed for deep space travel, the NX series, was very nearly the equal of any of the other races ships. Additionally, with the formation of the Federation, Starfleet expanded to become the defacto naval service for all of the member worlds.
So it would be logical to say that Fed starships are communal designs with aspects brought in by the participating designers and engineers. By the time of TOS, it'd be safe to say that the tech and design language we see in the Enterprise and her sister ships was being adapted by the member worlds in their designs. So ships like the Vulcan D'Kyr class, Andorian Kumari class and similar vessels from the Tellarites and other early Federation member worlds would have been displaced in deep space assignments in favor of the newer communal designs.
A more modern day example, that is admittedly barely related, would be how modern NATO and UN forces all use the same ammo type, 7.62mm. This allows them to perform combined forces exercises and operations while not having to worry about ammo running out as quickly.

I will take that if it comes alongside a T6 Orion carrier or science dreadnought cruiser...
why the design of the ships should be only human? the Andorian ships or the vulcan ships are very nice,
And when they DID do non-Starfleet, KDF or Rom ships, they were usually heavy escorts or escorts or whatever. So few T6 carriers..

Tellerite ships look the same as xindi arboreals and arkonian patrol ships. one of those reused ship models during enterprise.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
ah yes - forgot the Draguas and the Phalanx.
There are a few lower Nausicaan ships as well (Vandal and scourge) - odd I forgot that one becaus I even have the T5U fleet scourge...

I also want that, because it looks like it could totally be a fabulous frigate pet. And an escort. That too
