Imagine if the gear on our inactive ships did matter, that would mean to maximize the system you would need to gear, and upgrade the gear, on every ship you own. And people complain this game is a grindfest now. That just isn't viable as gameplay.

Making slots isn't the only way to fix torps, and not the best way. Better synergy with beam/cannons, and better travel times, even the non-destructible types travel too slow, would both go a long way to making them more viable. There are already rules that have been in effect for a long time, but haven't been enforced, that limit the height of signatures. I would be fine if they just stuck with those rules.

Have you ever been in a large fleet? It's nearly impossible to ever contribute to a project, so you have access to all these unlocks and no fleet credits to buy anything with, while small fleets can't open the holdings. The large fleet brings resources, and the small fleet brings projects that need them.

Honestly, Factions don't really mean anything in this game, other than for PvP. It's long past time that some "Shaka, when the walls fell" happened here.

This is exactly what is happening with cut scenes that are not skippable in this game. They will never be skippable, so if you can't stand watching it 3 times, with each viewing at least 7 days apart, just don't play them at all, and ask your doctor if Ritalin might be right for you. ;)
