I have same issues. Went from New Romulus Command to New Romulus and game crashed. Switched characters and game crashed. However my issues are improving, I can at least read the texts now.

They let you pay 700 zen (7 bucks) to upgrade T5 ships to T5-U. Why not the same here?

In the new trailer of Star Trek Beyond, the Enterprise are attacked by the Swarm which "destroys" the ship. Therefore they are relevant.

It's the first Star Trek Pilot! A Talos IV episode would make a direct connection between STO and Captain Pike. Maybe the Talosians go to you and force you to go to the planet because they need your help. It wouldn't be so hard to do.

Prime Directive doesn't apply to Federation member worlds. Starfleet has to follow Federation law and/or local laws in this case Andoria.

I loaded the game after the late night maintance. Game seemed to work fine. So I stopped and restarted it. Now I have the same problems.
