1.) Crossplatform play is terrible when it comes to consoles and PC titles. MS tried it already and it tanked to the point it was completely dropped. There are multiple technical hurdles that have yet to be resolved with cross platform play. 2.) Its not fracturing the community, because the PC community is the PC…
Its likely the same effect. A lot of studios use sound banks with effects from every show/movie they have done and some "generic" effects that are used universally. These kind of sound banks are also used by game companies to save time on creating brand new effects.
I have several T6 ships, but none are as good as the Ambassador T5u imo. The seating in the Ambassador is great, the ship stats are great, and it looks great. It doesnt need a "gimmick" extra ability, or pets or anything else. Its a clean and simple ship that can be configured easily and simply to be great in different…
Precisely. All the op really wants is to know how did not chose to play the STF so they can send an abusive message. There is no other reason I can think of that this "feature" would be used for.
A lot of points to cover here for forgive me if I get a little scattered in my response. First things first the torps - As I said earlier, I tried both neutronic and quantum with this build. Niether gave the same similar results in usage as the grav torps did. The Neutronic cooldown is rather long (15 sec base iirc), and…
The gravametric torpedo and the proton particle accelerator console are part of the Dyson Weapon set. The two piece bonus for this is ( as I explained above) a flat +3% critical chance to all weapons, and a photon torpedo damage bonus. An extra three percent critical chance its not something to be overlooked. No other rep…
Im torn. The content is all essentially free, if you spend enough time playing. But the amount of time required, compared to store prices is a bit on the high side for my tastes at times. And its only when I really want an item that I spend cash. This weekends sales is a good example of what I mean. The prices are lowered,…
Walls and walls of text, and all I keep reading is excuse after excuse. If you have "too much" dps, you can simply change your build to lower it and its not an issue. The real issue is simple old fashioned jealousy. Jealousy of high dps players is nothing new, and has been seen for years in many a game. The fact that some…
Some people in here are consusing network lag with frame rate drops. Only issues I have in the game are frame rate stalls in CCA, I dont lag while playing. My skills all work fine, but the frame rate tanks. This seems to be because of weapon or skill effects that cause multiple shadows and lighting effects. The game cant…
Probability Manipulation is currently what makes sci so powerfull. Which is a real nice change for me, as I always found sci to be much harder to crank out dps with. When combined with the numerous sci debuffs, it creates a window for extreme damage. My current tactic is to pop a gravity well 3, and as it drags in targets…
I tried to test this console out with the Bio Torp but I was unable to see if the nadeon blast wave triggered the bio proc on anything in the blast range.
They should do a horizontal progression, instead of this vertical progression they keep adding. Add more captain skills, add in more unique ship effects to specific models (ie tractors etc) when doing X progression etc. Constant vertical progression gets tiresome after a while
Meh wont matter to me, since the games bugged atm anyway and not dropping Rubidium for me. Only seen 1 rubidium drop in THREE DAYS of non stop STF action in various ques of all types. So my crafting has ground to a halt, even though I have 50+ trellium K etc. Just because I cant get a "rare" material.
Sorry It doesnt make any sense to cull our weapons, particularly when it leaves the other players weapon effects active. There is zero need to see a team mates weapon effects in combat, but there is an absolute need to see your own. Being able to tell if your weapons are offline at a glance, what if any proc effects…
There is a system employed across multiple games, and across multiple formats to resolve such issues as a limitation on the number of effects drawn by a games engine. Its called "Culling", and its something the game has and its broken. If the number of effects reaches a point where the engine cant render them, effects with…
