Not really. If you're complaining that something is underpowered and someone offers you a suggestion on how to improve that, then you should take that in and try to make use of it. If you try optimising whatever it is that's underpowered and still can't get results and nobody can offer suggestions on what to do? That's…
I don't know why people bring up the Voth, because they're subject to the Omega Directive, not the Prime directive. Which is probably going to apply to the rest of the Delta quadrant as well.
If you want to stop people from going places they shouldn't, you should just make a big door that allows them to go there. People only want to go to these places because the devs say "You're not allowed to go there".
The only reason rather then achievement and for the lulz to run most of the STFs right now is crafting materials. You make so that any crafting materials can drop from any ESTF? What you'll want to do is join a chat channel such as EliteSTF or the like, which usually has experienced players doing…
That's why Phasers have that proc to disable a subsystem. Science ships should remain the only ones with that permanent ability. It adds more to what little choice we have now. What's the point in making all ships the same? However, I'm all for buffing the ability. Just not giving it to everyone permanently.
You know, I kind of find it hard to care about this when it happens over the 1bil cap. 10 mil cap, sure I can relate to them. But 1bil? Nah, because you have more EC then you'll ever need at that point.
