No, I'm saying scoring films as wildly different as Star Trek Beyond and Pulp Fiction on the same scale and with the same criteria is pointless. When you review something you score it against things similar to it, be they previous entries in the series or other media like it. In this instance you'd score Star Trek compared…
Historically it's not been getting the marks that's been the issue, it's getting things like Iconian data cores. Being able to turn in 100 marks in order to get them has helped, but you can only do that once a day.
It's a shame with the new announcement that any new ships (such as the ones above) aren't on the horizon. Could maybe see a Sovereign, what with the whole First Contact time travel thing, but that's about it.
Not the biggest TOS fan, particularly of the aesthetics. That being said, the new direction is intriguing and I'm interested in how it'll affect our current 25th Century characters. Interested in the stats for the T6 ships as well. The Paladin and Sagittarius are rather tasty looking.
I've three characters, one in each of the different classes, at level 60. I do have a Romulan and Klingon character, but they're barely past the tutorial.
Bah! How could I forget the Nova/Rhode Island?! Love that little ship. Though if it was gonna come out I'd imagine it would've come out with it's larger role during Delta Rising. Maybe if Harry Kim gets a role in season 12.
That'd be a shame, the Luna's a great design and the Nebula would be interesting, especially using Andromeda style parts. Personally I'm hoping for an Ambassador class sooner rather than later.
Fleet Admiral J'Sane A long serving member of Starfleet and one of its most decorated officers, Fleet Admiral J'Sane is a veteran of countless missions throughout her long career. Enrolling at Starfleet Academy in 2363 on the engineering track, J'Sane was already different, eschewing the more conventional Vulcan pursuit of…
Well the in-game calendar now has a Galactic Restoration Initiative event starting on May 5th until May 19th, so maybe it'll be linked to that. Hopefully it's not just that...
Yeah, it bugs me as well. Even though all my characters are level 60, I don't play all of them as Fleet Admirals. I know it's only a minor thing, but it does break the immersion.
I'd like something with the Tzenkethi. Their system is in the game and they're one of the few decently sized global powers we've seen nothing of. Even just a mission or two would be good.
Yes please. I love the Ambassador, always have. I'd even settle for something like letting the Guardian use an Ambassador skin considering how heavily the Guardian is based on the Ambassador concept art, though I realise the chance of that is slim-to-none.
I like the look of the engineering Oddy. Be good if each variant had a different look considering the T5 Odyssey had a static look, but I'm not holding out much hope.
Overall I like the look of it. Seems more engaging from an role playing perspective than the DOFF system. Not to mention the better rewards. The only thing that's bugging me is people mispronouncing 'Admiralty'.
I like a decent turn rate, nothing below 20 and have at least one RCS Accelerator on every ship I fly, even escorts. I also tend to stick with fleet consoles rather than mission rewards or ones from C-Store ships (exception being the ones from the command cruisers and the T6 Avenger). Recently I've tended to shun…
I plan to delete my Andorian science character as she's been replaced by my Trill science Delta recruit. Probably going to make another engineering character in preparation for New Dawn and do some Let's Plays with her.
