As a tribute to Commander Montgomery Scott, why not add a wee nip to go along with Romulan Ale and Blood wine as a healing food item?

    Because it would be too much a tribute to your @handle.

    Also because the stuff burns for first time drinkers. Just imagine during the entire Iconian War, half of Starfleet is completely drunk and dead.



    In honesty, there is no good reason why not, but when they do this, everybody and their mother will demand "their" food item ingame as well. It is inevitable.​​

    I just drink while I play the game, I find this much more effective.

    Kerrat the drinking game. Every time you blow something up drink a shot of the good stuff, every time you get blown up take a shot of the crappy stuff.

    I'm much too lazy to check, but are there any real drinks in this game? I know you can get bottles of Chateu Picard, which is fictional but realistic, but the rest of what springs to mind is alien in origin (as far as intoxicants go). It might be an ESRB or PEGI thing.

    Mind you, worst I can see that doing is getting the game rated 'T' or the local equivalent (probably not even that in Europe), and I think it would be a fitting nod to Mr. Scott.
