It's having to grab the stupid flag at the end that mars race enjoyment for me. If you win the race, you win the race. Why TF do you need to grab a stupid flag? And why is there a secondary finish line that hops all over the place that makes grabbing that very stupid flag even harder?
As the fleet my friends and I made is very small and thus slow to build, we don't have access to fleet level ships yet. Fed: Tac - Chimera Heavy Destroyer Sci - Wells Temporal Science Eng - Assault Cruiser Refit Rom: (i only have a science officer) Ha'nom Warbird D'Deridex Refit KDF: Still leveling Strictly for fun (Fed &…
Cool or not, these "Special Projects" are out-of-reach of the smaller fleets, and thus are ridiculous. It's hard enough for them to get their starbase up and running. None of the "Cool Stuff" is realistically available because the dilithium costs are ludicrous. 200k per feature? No fun at all, Branflakes. Try convincing…
Thanks for all the free stuff this week! I haven't been able to capitalize on the last two KDF ships (my lone KDF character is only a Lt. Commander), but my Fed characters are happy. You made a great ending to the Summer events! Thanks again!!
Similar situation here. I have yet to receive any stipend after purchasing my lifetime membership well over a month ago. I am wondering if the stipend goes directly to my STO account, or if it first appears in my PWE "wallet", which then must be transferred. Either way, I've received no stipend.
This is the perfect opportunity to have a Master Key **SALE!!**. There's no other way I'll be able to open the 297 Tal Shiar, 43 Dominion and 22 Temporal lock boxes I've accumulated. :o
Your friendly neighborhood PUG here. Don't let the "Career Officer" fool anyone - I just started playing about 5 weeks ago, and bought into the lifetime sale. I like Star Trek, and I like the game. And for the record, I'm 50, not 12. Some of my fondest memories are of my father & me watching the new episodes of TOS…
Crashed three times myself in the Azure Rescue Mission before I realized it was an issue. HOWEVER, I now crash to desktop continuously each time I log in. Gaming was fine all night until I attempted the Azure mission, so I'm not sure why I'm crashing now, even when I'm not in the mission.
I play one PWE game - -Star Trek Online. I don't need ARC, I don't want ARC. I sincerely hope this doesn't become a mandatory background-running, memory-hogging application.
The only thing I regret is the rather high dilithium cost of the Special Projects. I like them, as cosmetic changes are what enhance the visual aspect of the game, but as a member of a very small fleet we have a busy enough time just trying to get the "meat & potatoes" up & running. Shilling out 200k in dilithium for each…
I'm rather new, but after 2 weeks of play, I got a lifetime membership. The game is that fun, and - well - the lifetime gig was on sale. ;) But if you're deciding between STO and SWTOR, I'd say come back to STO. Why? Because I've played both (was a big SWTOR fan at first), but the starship combat is what I craved, and even…
We did. IIRC, below are the ranks in descending order. I'm not claiming they make complete sense, but they are fun titles. Besides, we have a very small fleet. Fleet Admiral Sector Marshal Commodore Squadron Commander Flight Lieutenant Tech Sergeant Recruit
I do agree with this. There are currently 17 potential contestants, with all but one category having enough entrants to carry on the show. There is still ample time for other folks to sign up. :) It's small, player-run events like this that keep the community interesting.
Precisely this. This is a bug which causes a bottleneck in the Fed storyline progression, and really needs to be addressed. Please. Like, yesterday.
