T6 ships already cost 30 bucks a pop. buying 2 of them is equivalent to purchasing a new triple A title. imagine how much they'd charge for T7. not even considering the ridiculously overpowered stats and special things it would need to have to be "worth it"
The romulan ships imploding is not a problem in a world with Star Trek kinds of physics defying technology since the gravity could just be negated by the containment systems. as soon as the system fails is when the ship implodes.
Roleplayers hate the new DS9 map for 2 primary reasons. A: Quarks is no longer a seperate instance which is a great inconvenience to roleplayers, and B: the NPC trains of stupid NPCs constantly bumping into you and pushing players around.
what laughingxan said, was HAVING to respawn to beat a mission was lame, not respawning becuase you messed up somehow. if torpedoes are literally one shotting people on normal, that's not becuase THEY screwed up.
GPL isnt valuable like dilithium is as in being USEFUL, its valuable to those who desire extra commodities as an exchange medium. Money is less valuable at least in the federation than it is to us in real life becuase of post scarcity.
I like having 3 seperate careers, as it is theres already ways to build each one for any role you desire, or any playstyle or combination of roles. the elements of trinity are going to be there but STO is the least trinity reliant game I've played, and that is a GOOD thing.
I thought about making a character just for the most optimized rainbow ship (and ground weapons) build I could find (or just use chroniton beams) and call them skittles, with the battle cry, "TASTE THE RAINBOW!!"
Since when does it make sense to have red disruptors which dont look like disruptors? this is the case with the TTF rep weapons, and theyre so OP that you're gimping yourself if you're not using them. (on a disruptor build) your point is invalidated by the fact that weapons already dont look as they should. if weapons DID…
We are the ones paying them, if you feel that's too entitled thats an opinion you are welcome to have but expecting rational people with knowledge of how the world works to agree is entitled in my opinion.
