The Fleet Holdings are actually in different places. If you actually LOOK at the overview map you can easily see that. (Embassy on New Romulus, Mine in the Asteroid Field, Sphere you know, in the sphere)That's why we use a Transwarp Gate to go between them.
The game already has a rather expansive system to break free from the proscribed story arc. It's called the Foundry and is full of some pretty great user created stories, many of which fit into the exploration theme. With the somewhat recent addition of having the foundry missions available for discovery by flying around…
Indeed, this is exactly what I am getting at. In order to match my previous investment in tac tree, I am forced to ignore the investments I made in engineering and science. In the holodeck meta I can max tac and still have a lot of points available for subsystem power (weapon performance, warp core potential etc.) whereas…
Bort my man, if this helps on my fed tac with full specialization trees: Currently on Holodeck I have not quite full investment in tac tree. Tested tribble build with new system with every single point possible spent in tac tree and still LOST nearly 10% on my epic MK14 Dual Beam Bank. I also was unable to even come close…
You can buy contraband on the exchange, turn in 5 for 2K Dilithium. 2 hour cooldown on project means you can easily hit max refine limit every day. End result is 45K average price for contraband means you are paying less than 250K per 2K dilihtium ore. Problem solved.
I think the number of players that want a Cardassian faction is very small. Incredible waste of time that devs could spend in so many better ways. Allowing a Cardassian playable species would be a much better was to satisfy the niche that desire it.
Going to agree 100% on Coliseum and Boldly They Rode Cold Case I don't mind. My third choice for hated mission is What Lies Beneath Favorite mission hands down is Gates of Grethor and the whole series that comes from.
Shooter mode in this game has the possibility (very high) of missing the target, RPG mode does not. Only reason to ever use shooter mode is to decloak a target or to lead a target on a a grenade throw. In every other situation you are severely reducing your effectiveness.
UPDATE: Using Internet Explorer I was able to access the page. Using Pale Moon (FireFox) I cannot access the character copy page or any other arc account services.
Party leader can only change it in premades. PUG que does not allow it. Even the time you spend clicking "pass" could be used to actually click some thing useful.
I support the OP 100%. I've been begging on the forums since the day I started playing STO to get rid of this immersion breaking, time wasting system of loot. It is outdated and takes clicks that could be better used actually playing the game. ROUND ROBIN PLEASE!
I'd like to see all of these things, but not listed and of utmost importance is a PvE/PvP balance pass. When it's balanced, STO PvP is absolutely amazing, currently it is so out of balance as to be nearly un playable, unless you actually LIKE being the person using the out of balance I-WIN-BUTTON nonsense that pervades.
The zen you buy on the exchange is BOUGHT BY PLAYERS WITH REAL MONEY and then sold to other players through the exchange. Cryptic/PWE make the EXACT SAME AMOUNT of money for that zen as they do for any other purchase. Why is this still not understood?
100% agree with the OP. I eagerly awaited the expansion and stockpiled resources anticipating the fun. Instead I can't even spend the ECs I have because the dilithium and time gate stops progress cold. I used to play PWI, then it was overly monetized and became an endless grind. Logged into PWI the other day just to scope…
The main reason successful MMO Merchants keep their strategies to themselves is because the more people that know the details the less profit can be earned. That said, I and most of the successful merchants I know are usually more than happy to help someone learn to earn if they ask personally and nicely. I will in fact…
I know pulserazor quite well in game. He is one of the most enjoyable people to team with and fight against. I have to agree with him and those of you who criticize might benefit from understanding something. I feel the same way because before this update I had finished building ships and loadout for ten characters. By…
Normally I would not approve of the OPs wording, but in regards to what they did here, I think they are tame compared to what most of the players would really like to say. At the very least they should post a DETAILED explanation of the reasoning and what is being done, including a time frame. The really sad thing, the Tau…
