i too thought those #1234 people were up to no good... another theory i had was their name was offensive or broke the TOS so it was forcibly changed... as far as random invites for friends and fleet, if they didn't take the time to talk to me first i always decline them, they're only looking for numbers to pad their ranks,…
i see people saying it looks like part Klingon design, but to me it looks more Vulcan influenced... i know it's not typical Vulcan design, but when the flyby is done from the bottom it looks like the IDIC with nacelles... and yeah from the number i'm going with it's long before Kirks Enterprise...
i also want the female skirt Troi wore in that same episode... it's sad they forgot/neglected to add the TNG Uniform skirts, both female and male... the only reason i rarely use the TNG Uniform is because of there being no skirt option... also we need lab-coats...
being the KT Ships are in lockboxes, and knowing my luck, i could spend 200+ keys and not get one... until they go in the C-Store, which will never happen now, deprivation is still in full effect...
i would love to see an Episode based on "How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth"... it'd be cool to see Kukulkan come back and test humanity again to see how it's advanced since it met Kirk and Crew...
D.C. Fontana said it's canon and that's good enough a reason for me... really people watch the bonus stuff on TAS DVDs... it has neat stuff like that interview with D.C.Fontana where she states it's canon and the 4th & 5th years... it explains all the pink used in it, it was accidental, the character designer was…
here's a novel idea; leave in Keyboard and mouse support for consoles... the PS 2, 3, & 4 all support keyboard and mouse in their systems, as long as the software (game) allows for it, it's entirely possible... i've had titles on those systems that allow K&B so i know it's possible... heck opening up the manual for Dirge…
personal shields were used in the TOS timeline, in particular a few episodes of TAS... they strapped around the arm and at one time i recall one being a belt... some were used in the episode Spocks Brain...
not totally decided on it yet, it has a few features i like but, i really miss the peak option so i could tell if a thread was a troll/complaint thread or not before opening it...
i am so in favor of this... i felt from the beginning that having the Intel. tacked to the Eng. was just an odd decision for a Science Ship, it should have been Lt.Com. Sci.\Intel. from the start...
i would like a proper T6 Intrepid with a Sci/Intel seat... seriously, who's bright idea was it to put an Eng/Intel seat on a Science ship (Pathfinder)?..
just because... i don't need a reason beyond, it's there... actually i'm one of those that laugh when people complain about grind in this game as they have no idea what grind is if they think this game is grindy...
yeah it looks terrible, it's totally just gonna end up sitting in my bank forever... i was really hoping they'd throw the science captains a bone this year with a Risan science ship, we got one for Engineering captains last year and one for Tactical captains the year before that... where's the Science love?..
wow talk about extreme hard mode... make them last longer with shorter cool-downs i say... i prefer to spank a boss like a redheaded circus monkey than be beat by one because everything is on extended cool-down with active times that pretty much makes them useless...
if it was something like reserving at least say 1 of your front and aft weapon slots for Torps/Mines only i'd be all for it... but, the proposed layout adds more weapon slots to the ships and that's not good for our already DPS heavy meta...
why in the world would you want to turn off warp trails?.. my only complaint about S10's new Sector Space is that the warp trails are way more dim than they used to be up close to the ship then get bright in the middle of the trail when they should start bright and dim off into the distance... the warp trails make sense…
as a note, the OP keeps bringing up the novels... but iirc CBS, Paramount, & Roddenberry said that the novels are not canon and are merely fan-fiction... you're free to read and enjoy the novels but if anyone that has worked on the television/film franchise contradicts the novels then that new data is considered canon…
OP must be new to MMORPGs, this is just par for the course for most if not all of them out there, ever... it doesn't work like those "World of Planes/Tanks/ect." and CoD style MMO games, MMORPGs are way more complex, sometimes just fixing one thing may break something else...
indeed, i'm a LTS and i don't make silly demands or moan about every little thing that doesn't go my way... i'm well aware that my LTS only paid part of one employees paycheck that week i purchased it... but, not all LTS are dead weight as another poster stated, i myself do put in the $20/$50 card about every 2 months that…
as long as you don't delete the old character, you lose nothing... and with the delta recruit thing going on starting as a new Joined Trill will net you even more bonuses...
lol, stuart, that's funny... anyone that's been playing any MMORPG for any length of time should know better than to ever expect a massive bug fix for all the games woes, it's never happened before and never will, due to the complexity of nailing down certain bugs, where they originate, and what's causing the problem... if…
if even one person says they're not having problems, then it's most likely not the servers, as a server side issue would affect every single player... it's usually somewhere along the route between user and server... that's not to say there are no problems server-side, but they're not to the extent some exaggerate them to…
it happens to me every now and then... i just use my loadouts to work around this problem... go into space, if my BOffs are not at their seats i just load up "loadout preset#1" and everything's back to normal from there on... from what i understand they have a hard time nailing down the exact causes of this bug and the…
what i find erroneous about the OPs suggestion is it comes off as antagonistic when you approach someone and say "you suck, but with my sage advice you can be better"... it assumes that every other player out there isn't trying... by telling them they'd be better if they had X component, does not help matters, for all you…
