i see people saying it looks like part Klingon design, but to me it looks more Vulcan influenced... i know it's not typical Vulcan design, but when the flyby is done from the bottom it looks like the IDIC with nacelles... and yeah from the number i'm going with it's long before Kirks Enterprise...

i also want the female skirt Troi wore in that same episode... it's sad they forgot/neglected to add the TNG Uniform skirts, both female and male... the only reason i rarely use the TNG Uniform is because of there being no skirt option... also we need lab-coats...

being the KT Ships are in lockboxes, and knowing my luck, i could spend 200+ keys and not get one... until they go in the C-Store, which will never happen now, deprivation is still in full effect...

here's a novel idea; leave in Keyboard and mouse support for consoles... the PS 2, 3, & 4 all support keyboard and mouse in their systems, as long as the software (game) allows for it, it's entirely possible... i've had titles on those systems that allow K&B so i know it's possible... heck opening up the manual for Dirge…

personal shields were used in the TOS timeline, in particular a few episodes of TAS... they strapped around the arm and at one time i recall one being a belt... some were used in the episode Spocks Brain...

yeah it looks terrible, it's totally just gonna end up sitting in my bank forever... i was really hoping they'd throw the science captains a bone this year with a Risan science ship, we got one for Engineering captains last year and one for Tactical captains the year before that... where's the Science love?..

wow talk about extreme hard mode... make them last longer with shorter cool-downs i say... i prefer to spank a boss like a redheaded circus monkey than be beat by one because everything is on extended cool-down with active times that pretty much makes them useless...

if it was something like reserving at least say 1 of your front and aft weapon slots for Torps/Mines only i'd be all for it... but, the proposed layout adds more weapon slots to the ships and that's not good for our already DPS heavy meta...

why in the world would you want to turn off warp trails?.. my only complaint about S10's new Sector Space is that the warp trails are way more dim than they used to be up close to the ship then get bright in the middle of the trail when they should start bright and dim off into the distance... the warp trails make sense…

as a note, the OP keeps bringing up the novels... but iirc CBS, Paramount, & Roddenberry said that the novels are not canon and are merely fan-fiction... you're free to read and enjoy the novels but if anyone that has worked on the television/film franchise contradicts the novels then that new data is considered canon…

oh yes, as far as i know there's no way to turn off planet nameplates, maybe it's time they add one...

just disable the nameplates for other players... things look so much better without them, or better yet set them to display on hover only...

OP must be new to MMORPGs, this is just par for the course for most if not all of them out there, ever... it doesn't work like those "World of Planes/Tanks/ect." and CoD style MMO games, MMORPGs are way more complex, sometimes just fixing one thing may break something else...
